Ixion Posted July 14, 2004 Posted July 14, 2004 What bothers me a lot in KotOR is that as you fight one enemy, the others just sit there hitting you, and you can't do sh1t about it. I think that there definetly should be the ability to fight and defend against more than one enemy. You can use powers on one or more enemy, but never your lightsaber or other weapons. If this was implemented in the game, it would make for some cool animations too. My idea was that using two sabers or a double bladed saber would increase your defense against more than one opponent, using one saber would make your defense high when fighting only one person. I'd also like to see the ability to use different force powers at the same time, as Malak did, against those two Jedi. He cast Force Lightening while using throw lightsaber...
OLD SKOOL WHEELMAN Posted July 14, 2004 Posted July 14, 2004 I also hate it when other party members fight the exact same enemy that you are fighting, while the other enemies are just taking pot shots, and hitting every time...and even more when they crowd around in front of you so you can't put in a hit... ... About the using more than one force power at a time: Wouldn't that be sort of unbalanced?
ShinIchiro Posted July 14, 2004 Posted July 14, 2004 Double FP cost per power? Maybe even triple? That would make it more important to have big FP and would make it less overpowered. And masters would be awesome (and consulars).
Ragadanked Posted July 14, 2004 Posted July 14, 2004 I really hope they implement more "Fighting with other Jedi". We were able to for a brief moment in the first game and it was cool for a second. Forgive me I'm in a brainstorming mood: What if you not only choose what move your doing but also who your attacking for each move. Then watch your Jedi do the rest. Example: Dark Jedi (To left) Force Lightning, Dark Jedi (Behind) Strong Attack, Dark Jedi (Far away) Grenade, and so on. Make sence?
ShinIchiro Posted July 14, 2004 Posted July 14, 2004 Well, I say consulars or masters should have an ability to do multiple castings. Maybe dependent on your level. A level 10 guardian can do 2 force powers at the same itme. A level 10 consular can do 4. But with the FP cost, it's not overpowered. And I too liked the multiple combat with allies and enemies. I don't care so much if they're jedi or not, but mass combat is really really cool.
