Dakoth Posted September 15, 2004 Posted September 15, 2004 Has to be one of the funniest shows I have seen in a while.
Arkan Posted September 15, 2004 Posted September 15, 2004 The commentary is the best part of the show. "Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger." - Herman Goering at the Nuremberg trials "I have also been slowly coming to the realisation that knowledge and happiness are not necessarily coincident, and quite often mutually exclusive" - meta
Dakoth Posted September 15, 2004 Author Posted September 15, 2004 Yeah! "Huh?" <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Most Extreme Elimination Challenge with Vick Ramono and Kenny Blankenship.
deganawida Posted September 15, 2004 Posted September 15, 2004 Okay, now that we have that out of the way, what's it about?
Dakoth Posted September 15, 2004 Author Posted September 15, 2004 It was a Japanese game show that some Americans dubbed over. It is sometimes hard to say what is funnier the falls the contestants take or the comentary. It is normally on Spike tv if you want to check it out.
Dereth Posted September 16, 2004 Posted September 16, 2004 My favorite part was when the dude tried to do a flip, landed on his neck, and then his whole body stopped moving and he was perfectly balanced on is neck. He went on to win, of course, which made it even funnier

The best competiotion has to bwe the one where you pick one of four doors to run through and hope its the right one. I am suprised people haven't been hauled off in strechers for that one.
Arkan Posted September 16, 2004 Posted September 16, 2004 One of the worst spills I've seen (excluding the game Log Droppers, where everybody does a faceplant) was the only time I've seen them to the baseball game. You have to try to steal second base in a vast amount of deep mud. This one guy tripped and fell on his face, flipped over and landed on his back, but his head was STILL STUCK IN THE MUD, and he couldn't get it out! Fecking hilarious. Kitch Posted September 16, 2004 Posted September 16, 2004 Mystery Science Theatre 3000 will for all time reign as the superior commentary-based show. That being said, this show is still pretty funny.
