April 11, 20241 yr Was going to send an email, but couldn't find a contact address. So expressing my thoughts in public. I am just starting to play Pentiment and I can't help but smile at the unique art style and wonderful sound effects. Please pass this simple note of delight to the team. Thank you!
April 11, 20241 yr Author I should have also commented on the writing, brings back memories of Modern European History and Philosophy courses in high school. Thank you for adding an easy reference so I can learn things I never knew and refresh my memory on topics I should not have forgotten.
July 2, 20241 yr I agree! So glad this finally released on PS5! Now if only Obsidian would return to releasing games on GOG...
July 20, 20241 yr Aye, loved this game, it really helped me through some weeks of work - deliberately pacing myself and trying to experience the full breadth of the world, I started up a 2nd save at a point to see what I was missing before completing it but I couldn't hold myself back. A fantastic game, I greatly enjoyed the making of, particularly the animation side and relating that to maintaining the coherence of the game's look and time.
April 29, 2025Apr 29 I would echo the sentiments of the original post. Thoroughly enjoyed the game. "I tried the most potent Noise Amplification spell once upon a time. Mavellous spell. I could hear the birds speaking to one another in trees over the horizon, I could hear the rustlings as the clouds rubbed against each other in the sky. I could hear the sound a rainbow makes as it arches it's back over the world. Then a dog barked behind me and I burst my left eardrum."
July 1, 2025Jul 1 I have to agree. I've always believed that games are art, but Pentiment is on another level.
