freddfranca Posted July 9, 2021 Posted July 9, 2021 I was playing a spiritualist, and he is fun, but I was inspired for the Necromancer idea and wanted to try a Loremaster. What do you think would be more fun in a solo run?
dgray62 Posted July 9, 2021 Posted July 9, 2021 I think a troubadour/blood mage would be a great deal of fun. You could summon hordes of undead, buff them with chants, and cast wizard spells freely, many of which fit the theme nicely. The summons would be a big plus for a solo run.

Any suggestion of weapon I should aim?
Theosupus Posted July 9, 2021 Posted July 9, 2021 (edited) Sasha's Singing Scimitar would be my go to for most chanters. You can empower to your heart's content and the action speed buff is awesome. Edit: or not empower w/ blood mage subclass. just the action speed and shock lash then. Edited July 9, 2021 by Theosupus 1
dgray62 Posted July 11, 2021 Posted July 11, 2021 I'd probably wield Sasha's as well as the Lethandria's Devotion shield. Since you can't empower with a blood mage, you might consider going with a vanilla mage or another subclass. But regardless, both the scimitar and the shield are great if you are going to rely a lot on summons, since they they can boost their action speed (sasha's) as well as their defenses {lethandria's) and also heal them.
