I am getting this bug also. My game freezes whenever I try to build anything from the base menu. I was able to build the spinning wheel, however. Also on Xbox One.

Yes any build attempt in base causes freeze cwn build outside off base on to the world but not in or on base

0.3.0.2429 REL update 

1. Went to build a new base north of the oak tree by the calvo can for an above water base, was using stem foundations, tried it twice and the game froze up on me.
2. tried to expand current base by adding a single grass floor, the game froze up on me twice.
3. Went to place a grass floor over on the first post to the rose bushes near the lemon crime punch -o-. game froze

if any more happens ill edit this further

I'm using a regular ole Xbox One and having the same issue.  It's also resetting my day to a much earlier time so I loose everything I harvest and crafted that day.

Same thing is happening to me. Tried starting a new game and it just crashes trying build walls or fences.

Same issue, was able to build the wheel as well but anytime I try to build a wall or floor so far it locks up on xbox.

Since 3.0 update anything I try to build the game locks up and shuts down to home screen. Using Xbox one X.

Same here. Tried playing with the GF after 0.3.0 and I was able to build the spinning wheel but when I try to build other things my game crashes everytime

I am also having the same problem on Xbox. Any time I try to craft something for my base the game freezes and I have to quit out.

I have the same problem. When I try to build anything game freezes, and after about 2 minutes crashes to dashboard (xbox one x, insider). I could however build the spinning wheel, after that nothing anymore.
