Do we loose all progress in early access when game officially comes out?

I would think that since there will be major updates and changes that eventually an old/original save will be broken.  I could be very wrong though.

Mixed emotions on if that would or would not happen. Would be nice to start a new game with a full release but on the other hand, everything will be deleted that I've built.

my guess is we lose it all but get a bonus at release for being "testers".  This way they avoid any bugs being brought in by games played in testing to the final release, and can focus on existing bugs then.  I know some that have hundreds of days in their game now are going to hate that if it happens.  I enjoy building and rebuilding though, so i'm hoping they do the full wipe and give bonuses deal.

I am sure that this can effectively happen any time the game world is changed more than usual.

We can consider ourselves lucky that we can keep playing without restarting all the time, which is rather normal for many early access games.

Since there will be many incremental updates and it is not a server based mmo, there is no need for a pre-launch "wipe". So I don't expect one.
