After the patch to fix the other patch, it takes 4 minutes and 28 seconds from the moment i select a character and hit start to when i load into the game.  It appears to be an optimization issue, and probably memory leaks based off watching the task manager. Also when i have my friend in, we lag horribly when we are in game together, and worse if we are in the same area on the map.

4 minutes 28 seconds? That sounds like paradise to how long my game takes to load, I have video proof that my game takes 20-30min to load.  Are you on pc or console?

OK I just timed mine out of curiosity and Im on Windows 10 build 20H2 and it took me from choosing save file to fully loaded 14.26 seconds.  My game is on a SSD.

Even on the xbox one x it loads way too slow...  Horizon 4 with their massive world maps and all the extension packs do not take as long as this game does to load.  But honestly... this is mild to my issue.... sometimes I have saved games, sometimes I do not.  Now, imagine waiting all this time to load expecting to continue a game and there is nothing there 80% of the time.

We get a major update on the 27th so a week from now. Hopefully it will include a patch to fix the cloud saves.

I'm in the same boat.  But I've gotten used to it.  I just put on a TV show on my phone and let it play. And I know that the more I build in game the longer the load time will take.  I'm at about 22 minutes right now.

Hey all,

Yeah this long load time is reported by a lot of our players and we are looking into the issue. Please feel free to get in a ticket to support@obsidian.com with your computer/console specs to help us investigate if you could!

I like big bugs and I cannot lie...
