I understand only being able to place the same liquid in the same container. Why is it when I try to slurp from the containers I have already filled it says you cannot mix liquids?  Is this a bug or intentional ? CONFUSED!!!!!

My wife is on XBox and I play on PC.  When this happens to us, we first try emptying our canteens (consuming) and then drinking fresh water from a web.  Last ditch effort is to drink from a puddle.  This sometimes works.  Other times we've noticed restarting the game works as well.  Hope this helps!

try using a water Canteen to fill the water from the containers, then drink from the canteen 😄 when i first tried played the game and tried to slurp from the container without a canteen, it gave the same error too, then figured able to drink using a water canteen.

you can't slurp from the water container.  it does the animation of slurping from a puddle.  Even jumping onto the container so the animation is slurping from the barrel doesn't work.

I think it's a bug.

For now you can only get water from the container with the canteen.

I am also having the same issue on Xbox and my husband is having same on PC... Pretty sure it is a bug but unsure if it is a known one?!
