question orb spiders on night 1

are the orb spiders meant to come all the way to the starting science hut on night 1 if not someone tell the ones on my game that

My siblings and myself building a 3 unit grass wall to hide and continue building at night

I think they can roam around at any times, but you can easily hide from them if you run the other way!
