Craigboy2 Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 Well as the weekend ends we become extremly doubtfull that Akari will do it this week, i think we have a 95% chance of him not starting one. "Your total disregard for the law and human decency both disgusts me and touches my heart. Bless you, sir." "Soilent Green is people. noodle469 Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 NNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BuckeyeRowe Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 The could be a poll: Why wasn't there a weekend programmer? - Akari actually had the weekend off - Akari had a boatload of work to do - Akari thought there would be nothing else he could say - The bosses slammed Akari for talking to us too much and not getting enough work done Edit: I think I will make it a poll "Working for Davik was like driving a spike in the side of your head. Sure, you got something new up there, but in the end, you've lost something as well." - Canderous "But I though Jedi weren't allowed to love." - Handmaiden "But some do it anyway. We call it pulling a Bindo." - The Exile
Carth Vader Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 Nope, there won't be one. If it means the game is being finished quicker then I'll gladly give it up.
Daaave Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 (edited) I hope there isn't a weekend programmer because Akari said in one weekend programmer that when he stops doing them Obsidian is done with their part or something like that. Yay post no 100. Edited August 30, 2004 by sucky Just because you're a bit thinner than your even fatter mum it doesn't mean you're in excellent physical shape, if you could fit through the door and view the normal people you'd notice that cheeseburger boy. Squid suck.

Yay post no 100. ^They're not, and sucky, I'm sorry to say it. Here's a message directly from the man himself: "Sorry. I'm still working weekends. Been in all day, but I've been really busy with what I've been working on today and haven't been able to take a break from it so far. It's important stuff though. Trying to make the party member scripting: Easier to change More useful Hopefully it pays off. Maybe I'll have time tomorrow, but I suspect not. This is a particularly busy weekend for me." -Akari ^Atleast this sounds like progress. B) ^This is dated Saturday, so hold back your excitement. There isn't going to be a Monday weekend programmer, either.

Mikan_Delwynna Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 Its not like he owes us to do a weekend programmer everytime right? We should be happy he does one occassionally I cant wait for Kotor: TSL

Adria Teksuni Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 Uh, guys, discussion on no additional threads concerning stuff that Akari has so kindly given us in the past will continue to be locked. Never assume malice when stupidity is to blame.
