myfur1958 Posted December 7, 2019 Posted December 7, 2019 (edited) Trying out the Stormcaller build and going to have eder, myself, the cipher( for the great debuffs), durance, aloth and the druid ( for the lightening). Through most of the game. Should I remove someone from said group an add a rogue? an which of the awesome rogue builds here would you suggest? Don't know if only having 1 tank will be enough, could swap out aloth for the off tank rogue maybe? Also is there a way to change the color of your clothing? while ingame? maybe missing something so simple. Don't really have anyone thats good at trap find or sneak. eder with atl, and survival. myself with survival and alt and some lore. aloth lore mostly. the cipher would be survival and atl. same with the druid. durance I really dunno. his skills seem to be all over the place as far as stealth lore atl and mech also survival/ Edited December 7, 2019 by myfur1958
Boeroer Posted December 7, 2019 Posted December 7, 2019 No, I wouldn't. Depends a bit on the difficulty you are playing at though. Generally speaking: the higher the difficulty the more enemies you will face. The more enemies on the battlefield the less efficient a rogue becomes. Rogues are good when it comes to taking down a single enemy quickly. But rogues are not that great at taking out lots of enemies quickly. They have no ability with an Area of Effect so they can't disable, control or damage multiple enemies at once like a Wizard, Priest, Druid, Monk, Barbarian or Cipher can. However, if you want to have a guy in the party who can take out particular threats asap - for example enemy wizards, druids or priests - then a rogue can still be great even at Path of the Damned. And of course a rogue has the highest potential mechanics score - that can be a reason to bring one as well. But if you have enough mechanics already you can totally go with that party you described above and won't need a rogue. Deadfire Community Patch: Nexus Mods
