So the game doesn’t tell us much about the order except they are known for emphasizing honesty and diplomacy and being founded in honor of a few knights who helped found the Aedyr Empire by shielding Elcga during a peace negotiation.

 

That said, the Shady disposition/deceptive (POE 1) is not disfavored.  Why do you guys think that is? Your order is known for its honesty/honor and talking things out yet you can be a liar.  I think it’s because while honor is important being honest in a potentially hostile situation could turn things into a fight real quick.  Thoughts?

I definitely agree.  I just find it funny that the most honest guys can also the biggest liars because of the diplomatic aspect of the order lol.

That's one of the things I always liked about the St. Elcga order. Striving to be diplomatic and honest.

I know too many people who believe those traits to be inherently at odds.
