Mirandel Posted April 5, 2019 Posted April 5, 2019 That kotaku article is pretty damning on the lack of leadership at BioWare. Forget the exact dates, but it was something like Anthem was in pre-production way up until like 2017-2018, and the finished produce they released was basically cobbled together over a 12-16 month period. BioWare of old is truly dead. RIP I suspect you are talking about MEA. That was exactly the case - total mess with ideas, changing direction and leaving leaders. So big hats who were busy with Anthem had to delegate someone to sort it out in a hurry. The result - less than stellar MEA. But Anthem was supposed to be the biggest, hottest game Bioware made with 6 years of production, everyone in all the studios involved (people were pulled out of every studio there is), Casey Hudson returning to command that all. It was called Bob Dylan of the games - the best of the best. And - such a disappointment
Humanoid Posted April 6, 2019 Posted April 6, 2019 (edited) Presumably they were referring to modern Bob Dylan, plagued by plagiarism controversies and winning retrospective awards only for stuff done decades ago. Edited April 6, 2019 by Humanoid 5 L I E S T R O N GL I V E W R O N G
