To upgrade the SSS soulbound items, you have to re-do the fights you did to get them?

Featured Replies

This is probably a stupid question, but the second upgrade step on the soulbound items you get for pleasing one of the faces in SSS, like the Slayer's Claw or Survivor's Tusk, is to complete each of the fights associated with that face. But that's what you had to do to get the item in the first place. I just want to confirm that I understand correctly - I have to redo the same fights to get the upgrade; there aren't some other fights in the DLC that I'm supposed to get to or something?

I hope this is the right place to ask. General discussion says no spoilers.

I think you just need to complete all rights of a certain set, including SSS optional fights - those you unlock by collecting items to sacrifice to the pool.

Oh, from those quests you get to hunt down artifacts for the specific face? Those then lead to fights under the same category?

yeah. i think there are 3 optional fights that you can unlock for each path, one per artifact, and you have to complete them all. make sure to keep talking to that valian guy to ask for more things to find.
