January 24, 20197 yr Hey guys, I found some different load screens images inside the game files (some of them were even used at the Fig campaing). Why they are never used in the game? This is a bug? Are you aware of this?
January 24, 20197 yr Which ones? I know the Aloth Reflex loadscreen has been discussed before. Even though it's still buried in the assets, they chose not to go with the slightly goofy AD&D aesthetic.
January 24, 20197 yr There's also some ground-level renders of scenes like the Pillars 1 loading screens. At a guess they decided not to go with them because there aren't very many (mainly Tikaware/Poko Kahara and Neketaka) but I think a small selection of loading screens would be better than one

I remember that a couple of those were in rotation during the backer beta, and they shifted towards the plain keyart for release. We also lost the super-delightful loading pipe then too. RIP.
January 25, 20197 yr Seems like they created couple renders for the backer beta locations, but abandoned the concept for the full release.
