The way Forbidden Curse works is either not clearly explained in the skill description or is working incorrectly.

Using a character with -36% hostile effect duration and +0% ability duration, on my first cast of Forbidden Fist the duration for Forbidden Curse is ~ 16 seconds. Considering the tooltip says the base duration is 10 seconds, this doesn't really make sense. Is the duration increase on successive stacks applying to the first stack?

Yes. An iirc that's explained in the description, isn't it?

Not really, the description says "as well as increasing the duration of any existing curses". So afaik, that should mean that the initial stack should last 10 seconds, baseline.

There's clearly a bug because no matter how much hostile effect duration reduction you stack you can't go under 10s.

Yup, just tested with new char.

On first use in combat - POTD upscaled - "Forbidden Fist" adds the curse with a duration of 19.4 seconds. That's just weird.

Maybe we should open a new bug report in the non-beta section now that 4.0.0.0034 is out of beta?

It seems that it adds a net unmodified +10s on the first cast. Intended or not ?
