The description of Vion-ceth confused me...

Recommended Posts

The one of this weapon's ability, Wood Splitter, explains that this weapon deal additional damage against target(s) with Plant status effects.

What does exactly mean the "Plant status effects"? Does it mean the spells which has Plant domain as Keyword, like Vile Thorns, Tanglefoot, or Venombloom?

Exactly. Binding Roots as well. So a Ranger + Binding (Thorny) Roots + Vion-Ceth works.

But also Woodskin (e.g. enemy druids).

Thank you very much for the answer! The additional damage option seems good, it's somewhat ordinary though.
