  • I am running Windows 10 Pro x64
  • I have an nVidia card and, at the time of the crash, had NOT yet followed the guide to prevent crashes for those cards. Since then, I have set the frame rate to 60 and have re-enabled V-Sync. Still, I have a feeling this is not an nVidia-related crash since it occurred when something specific happened in-game.
  • I have installed the game yesterday and just started playing today (new game).
  • I have enabled Telemetry.
  • I am playing on "Classic" difficulty.
  • I have both Eder (as a Rogue) and Xoti (as a Priest) in my party.
  • The crash occurred when I tried to enter the Kraken's Eye the first time. The screen went dark as per normal transition to another location, and the crash occurred.

I have attached the crash log. Hope this helps hunt down a bug!

Best regards

Hello hbCyber!

I apologize for the crash you ran into at the Kraken's Eye.  We have had issues where some players intermittently crash during what appear to be random transitions between scenes.  Unity got back to us last week with some ideas for a fix and that has been implemented into our developer branch.  It is currently undergoing testing and will likely come out to the Beta Patch branch soon and assuming everything goes well, will then go live in a patch.  Thank you for the extra data as we will still be reviewing it to make sure the fix is working for all locations.  If you happen to notice anything else about these transition crashes, please let us know!

Thanks again and sorry for the inconvenience this crash has caused.
