I recall that the PoE 1 version did not, and, as a result, huge damage skills such as Sacred Immolation and Dragon Thrashed were not registering at all. Is it still the case in PoE 2? If yes, then is there any alternative damage meter mod? I recall that MaxQuest's mod (I think it was his) corrected this problem, but I don't know what's been going on with PoE 2, as I bought the game only a week or so ago.

Thanks in advance!

I didn't check to be honest, let me do a quick test (have a high level Animist with Plague oI in the party atm). Be right back...

By the way: Sacred Immolation is no DoT and thus was properly counted/logged in PoE. Like Chillfog and Storm of Holy Fire and Wicked Briars and stuff it pulses periodically and does a hit roll every time. But it has no "ticks" where the initial attack does a hit roll and the ticks always apply.

Yep. DoTs are logged properly in Deadfire. Just killed some dummies with DoTs only and the counter went up.

I always wondered whether the in-game damage meter counted animal companion damage for the ranger it belonged to in PoE 1. It definitely appeared like it didn't.

In Deadfire or PoE? In PoE it didn't.

Thanks so much for testing! I can more reliably test overall DPS throughout the game then! ;)

Yup. And that was really frustrating.
