At each new PL a Priest learns a new spell automatically. For example, a Priest of Berath automatically learns Touch of Rot at PL 1. If I wanted to reconfigure the spells a Priest auto-learns, is there any set of instructions to follow as in which files to look at specifically? I am trying to study some files but I only get hints and no concrete information from them. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Spells and abilities like this are assigned to a character via the class progression tables. Look in exported for progressiontables.gamedatabundle, and within this file search for "PT_Priest".

You'll need to duplicate the entire PT_Priest entry and then make your modifications because of how the progression tables work. If you need an example for the priest, I suggest looking at NocturnalTrance's priest mods.

Keep in mind that because each Priest subclass draws from a common progression table (what they get is determined by flags), multiple mods that modify it don't mix.

Yeah, I have noticed. I think what could eventually be done would be a series of videos covering all the modding basics. Until then, it seems that getting overwhelmed by all the details might be a bit much. I remain largely unsuccessful in my modding endeavours and have engage in shameful mod requests to get the mods I want. Hopefully one day I can correct this.

Don't bring yourself down man modding will not come easy at first. Yea I suggest reverse engineering my mods, see how they work and get an idea from there if you are interested in classes. If I have more time I could eventually create a guide on how to approach making new classes :}

"People fear, not death, but having life taken from them. Many waste the life given to them, occupying themselves with things that do not matter. When the end comes, they say they did not have time enough to spend with loved ones, to fulfill dreams, to go on adventures they only talked about... But why should you fear death if you are happy with the life you have led, if you can look back on everything and say, 'Yes, I am content. It is enough.'" ~Wynne, Dragon age Origins

OK Fair warning has been applied

I'm gonna move the domain to https://perspak.com early Feb but will keep all content

There are reasons behind this move which basically boil down to unifying my release schedule

My friends are welcome to play (I'll set you up your own areas if you desire them)

Please note that this process is messy so may take a few weeks

I will consider. I think the issue is that I have no modding strengths to speak of, as in none, zilch, ZERO.
