I know he leaves (obviously) if you assassinate the queen. Does this also hold true for supporting the Valians?

He wants to leave when you click him for dialogue, but you can persuade him to stay. On the other hand, if you assassinate the queen you never have this chance.

    Do you need to romance him for that, or will he just listen to you (unlike Maia) :p ?

    I'm pretty sure I didn't assassinate the queen and he still left when I sailed from Nek.  Musta had something to do with my faction choices.
