Multiple save tabs for same character?

I just started playing Deadfire. Is it normal for the game to start a new "save tab" every time I log in (see attached picture). I can only imagine what this will be like once I log in 50+ times...

 

In PoE 1, there were only separate save tabs for separate characters.

That is quite an odd bug and you are correct, it should be one per character.  My guess is that this is happening due to coding how the first save is created in the game.  I'll send this off to QA and Programming to investigate and get a fix in for the issue.
