August 9, 20187 yr During location transitions or loading saves. As i understand it is a known bug but i want to emphasize it by distinct post. So it is frequent occurrence during reloading world map. About 2 of 3 times. Very annoying. Save on a world map: https://drive.google.com/open?id=19RPxihj0VypBn7J-rT3A0bsjaYlfQGNI
August 10, 20187 yr I can also attest to the existence of this bug. It happens randomly perhaps once in ten loads.
August 11, 20187 yr Hey everyone! I'm sorry about the inconvenience of this bug. Fortunately, Programming is already aware and investigating the issue. Chessbrain, thanks for the save file! I added it to the bug report we have for this issue. Based on the type of bug this is, I expect the fix to be much simpler than some of the others we have gotten, so I expect a fix to release soon. Keep an eye on the forums for the patch notes to see when the fix is implemented. Thanks again for the report and save file!
August 28, 20187 yr Still happens I 'm afraid but you don't notice it like before cause there is no floating text overflow. Went from 9k gold to 300g in the time it took to finish fort deadlight (AND I was stealing everything but the kitchen sinks).
August 29, 20187 yr Happens fairly frequently on 2.0.1 with seemingly neither rhyme nor reason. Only solution is to remember what your gold balance was when you saved, and then when you need to load next time, keep reloading until you have the right amount of money. A very, very, tedious bug indeed. When I said death before dishonour, I meant it alphabetically.
August 29, 20187 yr To me, this bug happened especially often if I quickloaded during a ship battle or something going on with the ship. Otherwise, it felt like a random ~10% chance to lose ~15% of your money, yeah.
August 29, 20187 yr This is what happens: https://www.dropbox.com/s/0zl54dpj8ud10ep/WagesBug.jpg?dl=0 Just keep loading the same save. Eventually it will happen. It is infuriating. You can lose all your money not just 10%. One load took me from 27k to 2k and another one to 1. Edited August 29, 20187 yr by Azarel
