Ok so I get Palli leaving if you slaughter one of the families in Family Pride...but you ask her to step away during the powderhouse convo with the Queen...and she leaves for GOOD?! WHAT THE **** Obsidian?!

"Watcher, we've slaughtered Gods, Dragons, Liches, and Fampyrs, saved a thousand souls...but you want to have a convo without me? Good riddance!"

I mean the solution is not to bring her, but for a game that prides itself on having grey areas this is just ridiculous. Go back to ship, ask me later...add some flavor, not just an outright goodbye. It's completely unintuitive...how am I supposed to know at the moment she will give me the quest? Horrible horrible horrible.

You mean, the character who is explicitly there to spy on you for the Vailians and who makes her loyalties clear on many occasions is upset that you're plotting with a leader of a faction hostile to the VTC? Wow, who could have imagined that?

Pelli isn't just some spy she was with you through the entire first game. There is no explicitly to it.

And you think leaving for good is reasonable?

I think that it's harsh and inconvenient, but it makes sense that either that would be her reaction or that she would be *extremely * quick to leave if you didn't explain yourself properly.

Pallegina isn't just a spy, but she's loyal to her county and dedicated to it's potential. The scenario with the Huana queen *heavily* implies that you're going to talk about doing something excessively messed up to the Vailians. Pallegina pretty much slaps you upside the head and tells you that's the reality if you try to say it's just a conversation. The fact that you dismiss her after all that is a sign that 1) you don't respect her enough to listen /keep her there, 2) you're completely comfortable sending the most dissenting opinion away and comfortable with at least playing with the idea of ruining the Vailians. If I were her, I'd probably leave too.

Fair pts. Guess bringing her was a bad idea. Essentially you lose a companion or block out a faction. I just wish it wasnt as black and white.

Yeah. It makes the already difficult faction work at the end a ton harder. It is either nearly impossible or impossible or keep all your buddies when you side with a faction at the end, without what feels like a loophole anyways, and you *cannot * have them in any of the faction talks. I switched out to Serafen just because I figured he wouldn't lose his **** as fast Lol. Which worked out.
