So you dont actually lose control of your barb with frenzry?

 

All the confuse does is ;

 

- -5 intelligence

- your carnage hits your allies

 

Is this right? Or does it have more consequences?

Correction: All your AoE skills hit allies too. This includes skills you may get from unique weapons or armor. This can really suck if your barb is multiclassed with a strong aoe class like a spellcaster/cipher because you will basically blow up your own team and are more susceptible to getting charmed (from the -5 int)

Yea, that should be fine. Just be wary of getting charmed like I said as Barb/Rogues can dish out a lot of damage pretty quickly

You also take a scaling dot and the -5 int means a -10 hit to your will defense, which isn't good. You can avoid a lot of it by getting an Int inspiration(supresses confused) or a resolve inspiration(reduces confused duration, doesn't effect positive Frenzy effects).

 

Carnage is a lot smaller than PoE so if you don't have AoE skills you might not even notice.
