Is Vela broken again?

So, I started a new playthrough yesterday on PotD and just finished Port Maje. I wake up after the first Council of the Gods to find Vela in my cabin. I talk to her and... generic sailor dialogue. Seems like she's bugged again.

Again? Wasn't she ALWAYS this way? I don't remember her being fixed in any way.

She always had this dialogue. It is funny but also strange.

 

Maybe she doesn't want to be seen as a kid so she pretends she is just another crew member?

Hey, I'll accept that. When I was her age, I used to mimic things that the adults around me would say to try to sound more mature.

I've seen many children that hate to be called a child. Vela shouldn't be different, considering the environment she is in.
