Here are some of the imo strange approval/ disapprovals I've come across in Deadfire: Aloth gives negative approval when clicking on the Director of the Vailian trading company. Aloth will give negative approval for something Xoti says if you recruit her in Neketaka, before you recruited her.
Multiple approval gains from various characters (Serafen/Eder/Xoti) for stuff the "staff" in the inn in Queen's Berth say.
Positive approval from Tekehu for chanting NEMNOK.
Negative approval from Aloth for helping some people in the gullet with a road block after freeing the dragon (see sig).
I also got a situation in a scripted interaction where I picked Pallegina to pass a check and the game just made Xoti do it although she wasn't in my party, and Aloth and Pallegina reacted to it (positive & negative).
There are a lot more examples of this, but I wasn't aware they were considered bugs officially until somoene alerted me to it, hence I lack evidence in most cases/have forgotten them.
