Noticed tonight a lot of issues snapping to the grid sometimes instead of all four point snapping to where they should; one point would be halfway down the wall. I Was working on a multi-pallet storage seeing as were doing a big build and after the first level it was constant issues, the pallets would be at a slant instead of level on the floor. It was to the point I'd give up then come back and somehow it would work. Then someone else would try and it would mess up. Like they want to snap to different points and it confuses the game some how and pallets would end up at a 25 degree angle. Unsure of if the move is more snap points or greater control while snapping but it was infuriating to say the least.

Currently I love grounded and grounded 2’s building mechanic but there is a major flaw. I think I speak for everybody when I say that the building obstruction is really annoying when it comes to building and I know it’s there to add to the terrain and make it so you are limited to how big you can build and I honestly like that but because the game has no flat spots I think that there should be a set of blocks that can go through everything and this group also makes most sense. Foundation blocks because they can help you flatten an area for your build and they make it easier to build on. That’s option one but I would prefer option 2 which would be allowing us to enable part clipping so we can build through the building obstructions. Obviously this would not work inside the lab areas and thinks like that but at the start area there’s a root and I would like to have that as my doorway the only problem is that the tiny dirt around it make it so I can’t build there and I just find that so annoying. But being able to build a foundation for your build would be awesome and would make the game so much more enjoyable being able to build a proper base without gaps because of some dirt.

I've been looking to build a castle using those gorgeous mushroom bricks since the day they were implemented, but I was never a fan of grass or stem floors. Then, lo and behold my prayers are answered, and the burr floors are introduced, which look amazing, and will go perfectly with a castle aesthetic. Only problem is it would take me actual days to complete, since every single floor requires lint rope. Not even regular lint, lint ROPE! There aren't even 20 lint nodes on the entire map! I have to wait 3 in-game days or so just to build however many floors that measly supply of lint provides, and I'm not even a 10th of the way complete on the first floor. Until more lint nodes are spread across the map, I think the recipe should be reworked. Honestly, it should consist of 6 burrs, and that's it. The rope doesn't even seem to appear anyway, since it looks like you're just weaving the burrs into shape.

The idea is that once grass is chopped into planks, it starts to die and change color gradually. My suggestion would affect cosmetics only, and not have any effect on the structural integrity of the planks. It would be quite interesting to see bases built and having various parts change from bright green to dull green, grayish green, and eventually yellow depending on the age of those respective planks.
