  1. Hello there! Hope someone can help me with this bug. Description: I walked into a new area, right before a cutscene was about to happen. Loading screen goes normally, but when finished - everything is messed up... User interface is completely bugged, can't walk around or interact with anything, but I'm allowed to open C, H, I, J, load and save etc normally. Including save file, as I'm trying hardcore - and it saved when I walked into the new area. Steps to Reproduce the Issue: Walk into a new area right before a cutscene is about to start. 2. While playing on PC (i7-950 @ 3.07ghz, GTX 770, 6gb RAM), I have come across frustrating visual lag only in cutscenes. The scene will begin, and the audio will play out as normal. The visuals however appear to be in slow motion, with the mouths of the characters animating several seconds slower than the dialog. The animation completes, and the cutscene continues. It's annoying enough for me to discontinue playing. Has anyone else had this issue? Any suggestions on how to rectify it? (I've attempted lowering settings, changing my audio settings in windows and all other hotfixes suggested online... doesn't seem to be a mainstream issue). The game itself is installed on a secondary HDD through Steam. Might attempt to reinstall on C:\, which is an SSD.
  3. Hi, Having fun playing the game, but I've reached a progress-stopping bug. After choosing to beat Cartman up, I watch a bunch of cut scenes that lead me to Clyde's house. His dad says he's in the backyard with his little friends. The scene changes to show me Cartman and all about to open the sliding glass door to the backyard and it freezes in place. After about 15s there's a blip of scratchy audio and the game crashes to desktop. While it's dying, the cursor is visible and movable but no keyboard inputs seem to do anything. It's reproducable and the only thing I've seen on other forums is that by skipping the cutscene before you go in Clyde's house, you can get past the error.
  4. While playing NWN2 I noticed that: the clock was running on buffs during cutscenes and long conversations there was no option to have anyone other than the player character do the talking for the party I'm hopeful that these issues might be addressed in P:E. It would be very helpful for the timer to stop during conversations and cutscenes so that our preparations don't go to waste. Also, being able to designate someone other than the PC as the party mouthpiece would an excellent option. Fragile wizards and sneaky rogues have no business taking the lead when dealing with hostile parties unless we can maintain our party formations during cutscenes and conversations. Protecting the P:E equivalent of D&D d4 and d6 characters behind a line of high-hitpoint melee types just makes sense as they're not able to shrug off a beat-down very readily, especially the d4 types. So, Obsidian, please enable us to designate a mouthpiece or maintain our combat formation unless there's a uniquely coreographed encounter taking place that mandates otherwise.
