  1. KOTOR2 has more bugs, but it also has more content in my opinion... If bugs/glitches get fixed, quality sound pack added and ending fixed up (chances of it are low), then we would have a great title...
  2. Well, there isn't "in-game" way of disabling it... Closest thing is to disable Frame Buffering, but that will take out half the effects in the game... All you have to do is create Override folder, drop one file into it and your eyes are saved... Problem Solved...
  3. There is a simpler way then one you posted... Take a glance at Anti-Speed Blur MOD for TSL thread... Hope it helps... Directions from ReadME file Copy k_sp1_generic.ncs into the folder: C:\program files\lucasarts\swkotor2\override If the directory "Override" does not exist, create it.
  4. Ahhh! Great info... It's nice to know that patch is in QA... It's also a good to have LA give us a heads up on situation...
  5. Yup, have to agree. I wouldn't be surprised if it was out on internet minutes after live aired time. All in high res HDTV with AC3 surround sound and NFO file giving you background story of every frame... Hmmm... Now if we could only have some info from Obsidian about their patch, life would be great...
  6. Yea, would be nice to have Visas and Kreia change look based on armor they wear. Currently I make them wear dorkiest looking components (gas masks, settler uniforms, etc... ) since you can't make them look any worse then they already have...
  7. Yup, I totaly agree... It's a simple thing to implement, yet it bugs me not having ability to do so... Especially, since in Xbox version of KOTOR2 you can do that with a black button I recall....
  8. Outstanding post... Have to agree with you for 100%... To me it seems that sound wasn't really re-worked for PC version after Xbox. When I read that line, I couldn't help but get a smile on my face. It perfectly explained to me why Doom 3 had OGG sound and KOTOR2 had worst sound possible. It's obvious that Doom 3 Publisher & Devs CARED. They are continuously working with ATI to help optimize drivers and staying in touch with community. If I see a single Obsidian post in regards to KOTOR2 bugs or patch info, I might have a heart attack. I realize that LucasArts had a very unreasonable development time frame for KOTOR2, but with quality of support for this game we have seen from both LA and Obsidian, kind of makes you wonder about possible future for NWN2 (although I have noticed a lot more Obsidian Dev posts on NWN2, so there is still hope)...
  9. Isn't it funny, how companies try to save costs on development by releasing unfinished product and then spending big bucks on Tech Support in attempt to deal with angry customers... Next step is often to cut costs on Tech Support and "our source" it. At least you are corresponding with Jason and not some Rahji from India... :D
  10. I noticed that too.... I am unable to track down to what causes this, but in my case randomly punching buttons on keyboard for a minute or switching around between companion tends to cause my main character to move again... Strange... Strange
  11. Ran into interesting quest script bug.... Lets say I come in second or third in a race. Since I am a champion, I don't have to pay entry fee of 100 credits for next race. Well, not so fast.... Unless I talk to Race Master and ask him what course records are, I'll be asked for 100 credits as entry fee again. So only way to avoid this bug, is to keep asking about course records before each race. :'( P.S. I sure would love to have a sweet talk with that high school intern programmer who worked on "swoop racing" portion of the code.
  12. I've only tried Telos swoop race so far (on PC), but it seems un-beatable... Boosters are very "glitchy" (don't always activate) and half the time you are told that you didn't finish race due to crash, when in reality you did. Very frustrating and could have being easily spotted by quality control team.
