  1. I know t3 gives the exile +1 wisdom in dialog. But what bonuses does Hk-47 grant you? A faq on gamefaqs.com states that he gives attribute bonuses as well as "tips on defeating other jedi", but does not go into specifics. Does anyone know the exact bonuses you gain from gaining influence with HK?
  2. Not sure if this applies generally. But the special dark side shop on Telos seems to have fixed loot.
  3. You mean, you got it free, right? Not that you selected it after you became an assassin. It just seems odd tha tyou would get them free, given that they're available to choose prior to your choice of prestige class. In fact, saber focus is the ONLY bonus feat (if dsimpson's faq is correct) that you can ALSO choose prior to becoming prestige. Why would anyone choose it if you're getting it free when you hit prestige?
  4. Actually, looking at his faq, it is not ONLY the marauder who gets the bonus feat, but rather ALL the sith prestige classes. Can anyone confirm that this is true?
  5. Not sure what you mean by "clicking" but yes, I have pressed the mouse button many times, so that the power in question is DEFINITELY queued up. (the game sometimes does not register the power when you click only once for some reason)I've tried queuing it just once, twice, three times, four times. No luck. Kreia still just runs up to the mines and gets herself blown to bits. The only thing I can do is use ranged AI and have her blast, set it to stationary (in which case she does nothing), or set it to jedi support (in which case she uses some random useless force power a la force drain). I cannot have her use a specified force power when I am not directly in control. That's really annoying because the AI has no idea what powers to use in what situations under "Jedi support." it just kind of randomly cycles through all her powers.
  6. In dsimpson's faq on gamefaqs he claims that the sith marauder gains the weapon focus: lightsaber feat as a bonus feat. Strangely, the light side counterpart sith weapon master does not gain this feat. Does anyone know if dsimpson's faq is correct? I am planning to go with a consular/marauder build, and I'd rather not waste a feat if I'm giong to get it for free later on.
  7. They don't case the right ones though. Is there any way to queue your party's actions and have them stick? There is the option of "Jedi Support" which will allow them to cast only force powers until their FP are gone then they go back over to their default attack. <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
  8. This is somewhat related to my other post. But how do people manage their parties? Are you switching back and forth between players using tab? Or relying on the AI? If so, which AI in what situations? I've always been a fan of rpgs mainly as tactical combat games, but I'm having a hard time getting a feel for KOTOR II. I am trying to get Kreia to use her offensive force powers. But she refuses to do so, and just keeps casting buffs until her force points run out... (AI: Jedi Support)
  9. The game seems to be particularly problematic for those with radeon cars. I got a 9800 to play HL2 (which incidentally, is a very boring game ) and am having periodic graphical problems (strange bars appearing across the screen) with the latest drivers. Consoles are much easier to QA because they are standardized. Every pc is different, so it is hard to ensure a good performance in eveyr possible hard/software iteration. On the other hand, I just reformatted my HD and have virtually nothing installed other than the latest cats and HL2. It's hard to understand why there would be so many graphical glitches, given that my hardware is all standard fare.
  10. This is a repeat post. Apologies. I'm having difficulties controlling my party that I don't recall having in KOTORI. In particular, party members seem to completely ignore my commands once I switch/tab to another character. The default AI behavior takes over, and any force power or other commands are dropped. In the early droid boss battle with floating mines, I am trying to get both the mc and kreia to use force powers (shock) on the mines, but only the character I am controlling does this. The other one invariably runs up to melee, and gets blown up. I realize I can avoid death by placing one or the other on "stationary" AI (and perhaps switch to a ranged weapon). But the point is I want both to use force powers to blow up one of the mines, then run in and melee. It seems that this is impossible to do. Can someone help me with this? I don't recall KOTORI having such a clumsy party control mechanism.
