I started with my screen fading black after character creation and intro video sequence.. 1. made a save in a different computer. 2. Disabled all movies(didn't work so i deleted them also) then it did for a while 3. then finally the ''diasable vertex buffer objects=1'' and i was able to complete 2 more plantets.. peragus, telos, onderon, nar' shaddar! i also got a radeon 9800 not the fainstest clue what my drive is tho!

I dont even think you want to know how long i have been waiting.. suffice to say over an hour! just red this now so let me get back to you on the tools worked thx <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Rad tools just do playback and conversion outside of the game. So they won't affect playback in game. Good for viewing the movies later but really messes uo the flow of the game. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ahh ok, thx mate.. them no need for taking my computer through the horrible blizzard! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> at least it USED to install their 'codec' that could help overwrite what the game uses in case there is a problem with the version the developer used <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No matter what it do now, you tried to help and im forever gratefull.. thx ^^

i erm deleted all the movies. created back-up first, then deleted them! i thought if they couldent find the movies, then they might just skip em. and they did.. it just dont do me any good when otw to telos! there it does the same..

I Puchased my game yesterday, and would really like to get started.. so with my poor knowledge concerning computers i was able to find some loop wholes; not that, that worked to much. After every video sequence(And i do mean EVERY sequence.) The screen just fades black! i wanted to play so bad that i installed it briefly on my friends computer, creating a save that i could take home to my own - and it did work, until i came to the part where some zombie looking fella arrrived in some spaceship(also a video sequence); that's where i thought to my self, hmm maybe i should disable movies, that didn't work as i had hoped.. so i decided to take it 1 step further, bye moving all the video's at kotor2 in the folder (movies).. And against all odds it worked i was thrilled of this temparely situation.. so i played as far as getting off peragus and omw to Telos; how ever when i traveled to Telos, even tho no movie it wouldent go further.. >-< Has anyone cracked this yet or ? ok, i will try to explain further.. after the intro movie, the game should jump to the part where your character is in that kolto-tank, but it doesent the screen just turnes black.. i am atm not able to send the game since im afar from home where i have it ..

I have recently puchased kotor2, and it aint working.. i installed the game and all, but when i am done with character creation. the game will after show the intro movie and that's great and all.. now heres is where the problem shows. after the movie the screen is black and i cant do nothin', its after the movies the game does it.. that i know because i installed the game on my friends computer, there i started the game and made a save put it on a floppy disc.. i ran in to the problem not much later in the game, when i saw a zombie looking fella, in a space ship (also a movie).. and i want to play Pls help! sincerly yours Hamselc'v
