The Predators didn't make the playoffs in their first five years of their existence, but crowds were never too bad. Back then. weekday crowds would be in the 7,000-8,000 range, but weekends were still around 10,000-11,000 with the occasional sellout. The playoff season of 2003-2004 really starting getting a new group of fans (like me), and this season the Predators are getting equal(or better) time with other sports on talk sports radio for the first time ever. With the demise of the Titans this season, the Predators are the hot team right now. I really have no idea what will happen in future seasons.

Kariya scored in the first minute of OT as the Preds beat Detriot for the 2nd night in a row 2-1. (w00t) Can you believe it? The Nashville Predators are tied for first place in the Western Conference in the 2nd half of the season. It may not last long, but the fans here in Nashville will be celebrate while we can.

The Predators are back in business with a 3-2 win over Detroit last night. (w00t) If they can just win tonight in game 2, they can finally take the Western Conference lead. It just seems like every time they are in this postion, they lose the game. But at least the Preds finally beat a team with a winning record. I was beginning to get worried. I was at the Preds-Blue Jackets game on Saturday, and it was a blast as the Preds won 7-2. This is a tough road trip for the team, so it was important to get a big win at home.

The big Detriot - Nashville game is finally tonight! (w00t) It's been a rough week or so for the Preds, but a win tonight will make the new year seem a lot better. Go Preds!

I'm ready for the Preds to come home for the New Year. The road trip started well (3-0) but it was a rough last two games (0-2). The Oilers, Flames, and Canucks are three very good teams. I am glad that the Preds got at least one win from them. Next Friday, Detroit at Nashville!

For some reason, the Preds just cannot win in Vancouver. They haven't won there since 2000, despite having a lead much of last night's game. The game was the opposite of the Flames game. This time, the Pred had a 2-0 lead, was tied at 2-2, took the lead 3-2, and lost the game 4-3. Oh well, all streaks have to end sometime. It was a fun run while it lasted. The Oilers game on Friday should be pretty good. These teams always seem to play tough against each other.

Last night was a very physical game between the Preds and Flames. THat first period looked more like a rugby scrum than a hockey game. Fists were flying everywhere, Sullivan was face down on the ice for a few minutes, and penalities were being called left and right. Somehow, the Preds manage to rally from an 0-2 first period and a 2-3 third period to win 4-3. Delta Truth, we'll try to take out Vancouver and Edmonton too to keep everything even. I just wish those darn Red Wings would lose a game.

Big game tonight as the Predators visit Calgary. A Preds win could very well put them in a tie for first (if Detriot can lose at Dallas). I just hope the Flames are a little tired after their game last night (though it sounded like a good close win for them). The Preds have won five in a row, and outscored their opponents 26-13 in that stretch. I was at the game in Nashville, and the Flames looked like the better team at the time (despite the Preds win). I am curious to see how we do on the road.

For any doubters, look at their record against the top teams of the NHL: Rangers: 0-1 Flyers: 1-0 Oilers: 1-1 Kings: 2-0-1 Flames: 1-0 Stars: 1-1 Not too bad.

Hi! This is snowcat from Mistress Lair and a resident Predators fan. I went to my third game of the season last night to see the Preds knock off the Avs 3-2 and remain the 2nd best team in the Western Conference. Anyone catch the game on OLN? I don't think anyone in Nashville expected the Preds to become as strong as they are (or anyone else for that matter), but it sure has been a fun ride so far. I just wish the team could finally play the Red Wings and settle this division. The Preds start on five game road trip tonight against Chicago, so I hope they can keep up the momentum of their 3 game win streak. This will be the longest road trip of the year, so-far.

I do feel a little dirty playing the dark side, but I just remember to give in to my feelings, and I feel better. I love the reaction that the hacker on Oderon gives me as he begs for his life. After I tell him I am going to kill him, he says "You're just evil!"

First Bungie, now Obsidian?! Stop the MADNESS!!!

I felt that playing as the other characters was one of the high points of the game. While it is fun to play as my melee Jedi character most of the time, I think it is great to have to play a different style every once in a while. -
It was "Keep of the Borderlands" I am also 33, and have a similar background.

Great post, Jitawa! :D I am just trying to picture a naked Jedi fighting with a plasma torch against the hordes of the Sith. " Of course, they may all laugh so hard that you could take them out easily.
