  1. Apparantly there's some issues with the game and newer graphics drivers for certain cards, so I downloaded an old driver and everything worked out. yay! (I found out I had the exact same problem with another game, Bounty Train, which a friend had also run into, so he suggested that I try the older driver trick)

  3. At least I'm not completely alone then I'm on Windows 7 64bit, guess I should have mentioned that.
  4. I just bought the game on Steam, but when I'm starting it up all I get is the menu (I assume) music playing and my windows-cursor changing to the in-game cursor. The icon for the game isn't even showing unless I first try and ALT-TAB, then I get the little goblin-icon. Apart from that though, it just looks like I'm still poking around in Steam, only I now have a different cursor and some nice music playing in the background. I tried desperately clicking blindly around on the screen, and apparantly I am able to click something in-game because at some point I got a "clicky sound" and the mus
  5. Thanks for the link, I'll just cross my fingers and pray they solve it soon then. Really wanna play this game, it's sooooo good!
  6. The bug is deffinatly not just graphical. I got it on my Wood Elf who's lost both his racial and his Marksman bonus. On his sheet his accuracy is 36, and when looking at my combat log while attacking enemies at max distance it's still only 36 instead of 46. Hopefully it gets fixed soon, 'cause yeah, as a lot of people says, you don't really wanna keep on playing if you're not sure wether you have to start over again later or not, and 10 accuracy is just too huge a bonus to leave behind. Go-go Adam! Smash that bug!!
  7. I don't see it in my active effects either, so could very well be that I've been hit by that bug. All my items are greyed out in my bags too, I don't know if that's any indication of wether I've been hit by it or not. Either way: Any way to fix it? *EDIT* Just checked wether Aloth had it under active effects, and he did, so something is deffinatly wrong.
  8. I just made myself a Wood Elf (giving me the Distant Advantage racial) rogue and at lvl 2 I took the Marksman talent. Both of them should give me +5 accuray against "distant enemies". The Wood Elf racial says it's 4 meters, Marksman doesn't give any exact range. Here's my problem: When looking at my character sheet my accuracy is 36, but when looking at the combat logs after attacking an enemy just at the edge of the fog of war, my accuracy is still only 36. Shouldn't it be 46? (+5 for the racial, +5 for the talent) seeing as it doesn't get much more "distant" than that. Am I missing s
