EmilAmundsen replied to peardox's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire: Modding (Spoiler Warning!)
@Peardox thank you so much for the hard work you put into this. We did get some fine mods out of it, and your concept was brilliant! A big thank you to all the modders on Peardox's team. I really appreciate what you did for us! Your effort is amazing <3 -

Hope you get to do both once the web-solution is in a satisfactory condition -

If this was for me.. "Your" relates to both the singular and plural.. In this case the latter. -
Your mod request is marked as on hold Legally we can't Mod someone elses Mod (lawyers) Yep - GG is part of our group - we assume he's on holiday If you re-word your req as a new one we don't break any laws (same goes for the godlike mod someone else requested) Something I have to look after is our members not being sued If GG is on a vacation I'm sure I can wait until he's back. There are plenty of other mods for you guys to tinker with in the meantime, would be a pity to waste such generous resources. I'll rephrase if GG declines.

@Armakoir thank you so much for the mod that enables the ranger to hide away his annoying critter-companion! You're a hero <3 @peardox Regarding my requestted "AI Conditions" mod, I'm of course already usingthe "More Custom AI Conditions" mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/pillarsofeternity2/mods/88). It's really essential for setting up macros in my view. I didn't know GravitonGamer was part of your team, or I would have made the request there, if not both places. Anyway I made the request there now. Thanks for the heads up -

Will you be posting links to the mods you guys decide to make here in this thread? I'm assuming you will, but it occured to me there may be some other outlet everyone but me knows about -
In my current playthrough Pallegina betrayed the Duks and failed her mission in PoE1. She has personality traits that puts her at odds with every story-companion except Aloth. I was wondering if she would have different personality-traits if she followed orders or if she was pardoned for a successful outcome despite her betrayal in PoE1?

I just wanted to say I'm very happy with the changes you've made to the core game since release. <3 The difficulty is drastically increased, and a lot of bugs have been stomped out. In essence it's a much better game in all. There is still a lot of potential to be realized in Deadfire, just like it was in PoE1. I hope you'll be able to keep upgrading this game as vigorously as the previous one. With Love,

Funny. "gifts" actually actually enrich the game. How many have complained that the game was to easy? And some are flat out hilarious in a good way, humor done right in a fantasy-fiction. I started a character with the "all bad" game-state to quickly pick up the easy Beraths Blessings for a rather inefficient but likable RP-character. And the "Gods? I frack Hylea up her hiny!" attitude and the gods reaction to it was quite enjoyable. Being entirely unfaithful to the gods and really piss them off seems well worth it for roleplaying a character with a severely unagreeable personality. Well worth considering for a Bleak Walker for example.

Assassinate and backstab require the attacker to be sneaking or invisible, unlike sneak attack. Lets say the victim is blinded or paralyzed, would that trigger assassinate and backstab as if the attacker was invisible?
