  1. Currently, in the app, when you close a location deck, the cards get banished without you being able to see them. In the physical game of course you see which cards were still left because you have to put them back in the right places in the box. I'm not sure which I prefer, so this is not a feature request per se. I know I've certainly went "well crap" a fair number of times when seeing what boons I missed after a location closed, but I also went "phew!" a fair number of times as well when I saw which banes I didn't have to deal with. Maybe it could be an option so people could decide for themselves whether they want to see the cards or not? I think I'd probably prefer seeing them because I'm awfully curious, but I also think I would probably hate myself for it sometimes. ;D
  2. I know I can at any time examine my discard pile, and also my deck (which is cool btw, you can't do that in the physical game without seeing the cards in order which is of course information you shouldn't have, but it's great you can see in the app what's still left so you don't have to guess/remember). So when I heal, of course I can check which cards were shuffled back into my deck/recharged/whatever by examining my discard pile/deck before and after. It would be convenient if you could actually see the cards getting healed back face up however so you didn't have to do that extra step. Maybe make it an option though for people who don't want to know, as I imagine there might be some that don't want to peek at their deck like that at all.
  3. Like I already posted here before, it would be great if we could get the examine button on locations from the map other than the one the active character is at: http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/86253-examining-an-unoccupied-location/ However as had been posted as a reply to that thread as well, it would be great if we could go to the map more often at all. Sometimes the map button is disabled, for example when I'm asked whether I want to close a location after defeating a henchman, it would be great if I could look at the map to get a better idea of how much is left so I can decide whether to gamble on fully exploring something or whether I really don't have the time for it, but the button is disabled while the "do you want to close this location?" popup is there. There's other occasions when the map is disabled and it would be nice if it weren't, but that's just one that stuck out to me.
  4. I'm not sure if this happens anywhere else, but I noticed that in The Poison Pill, on the left hand side where passive effects are displayed, the scenario power for that scenario is called "Scenario Power", while in pretty much every other scenario, it is called the name of that scenario (which I like, it's more thematic). Just a small detail, but we all know the small details matter (and you guys have done a great job with them!)
  5. Challenge accepted! But on Legendary, once I've unlocked that, like you posted in the other thread
  6. Overcome with justice after defeating - who else - Justice Ironbriar, Seelah forgot to use an "a" when talking to him afterwards. Screenshot:
  7. When my solo Seelah uses Inspired Grace on a check, the check changes to the first check on the top card of the location deck. This doesn't matter much if the check is against a card from the location deck... however, if Seelah is for example trying to recharge a Cure, and using Inspired Grace for that, she suddenly gets to know what the next card in the location deck is, and the recharge check changes to that card's check. In the case of an empty location deck, it changes into a "None" check with difficulty 0 with only the bonus d6 from Inspired Grace (but that check cannot fail, anyways). For cards with multiple checks, if she's doing the second check, it also changes to the first printed check to defeat/acquire. Which also means any checks before acting, when inspired, turn into the actual main check. I think Iomedae is gracing Seelah with just a little too much for her limited mortal mind there, please stop breaking the poor girl's brain, she's not that smart! I made some screenshots, here's one of it happening on closing an empty location, and one on recharging Cure and getting a vision of the villain (how convenient, if rather wrong): iPad 4, iOS 9.3.1, story mode, no pass & play, no permadeath
  8. Solo Seelah on normal difficulty in the scenario Crow Bait tried to close the Farmhouse and a Scout was summoned. The scout shot at her, as he likes to do before proper combat, the coward, and dealt 2 damage to her. Seelah discarded a Bastard Sword and Caltrops, then the scenario special rule erroneously triggered, forcing her to bury one of them (she chose the Caltrops). This was no combat check, so she should not have had to bury that. However, that is only where the strangeness began. The ravenous ghouls, not sated by her Caltrops, immediately pounced upon the Scout and ate him whole, defeating him in the process without Seelah getting a chance to brandish her (other) sword and do the deed herself, no combat check was rolled, though the farmhouse still closed. iPad 4, iOS 9.3.1, no pass & play, no permadeath
  9. I play Seelah solo and I have Ilsoari Gandethus in my deck. When I use him to examine the top card of the location deck and put him back on my deck, and subsequently use Seelah's Inspired Grace power to discard the top card of my deck (Ilsoari) to get an extra 1d6 on a check, things do not work as expected. I drag the card over to my discard pile, and what actually happens is that Ilsoari goes back to my hand as if I had just drawn him instead, I do not get the extra 1d6, the game still says "Discard 1 card from your deck", and the red cancel button on the left to abort this action, while displayed, does nothing. The only thing I can do is simply roll for the check, without the extra d6. Then the cancel arrow and "Discard 1 card from your deck" go away, and I can continue playing normally, except I now have Ilsoari back in my hand, usable as normal, which is clearly quite wrong. I suppose a paladin and a shifty mage dabbling in powers he can't quite control really do not like each other, but shouldn't Ilsoari be happier to be discarded rather than sticking around longer than he should instead? Device: iPad 4 OS: iOS 9.3.1 Pass & Play off Permadeath off Story Mode (happens repeatably in multiple scenarios) Party: Seelah solo Don't think anything else is relevant, the issue is repeatable regardless of location, check I'm trying to use Inspired Grace on, scenario, etc.
  10. In the physical game, when you encounter a boon, it is optional whether you want to attempt to acquire it (unless it has no check, like a Blessing of the Gods). Quite often you do not actually want to acquire something if it's a card you can't use at all, especially later on, when Basic and Elite cards that get banished get removed from the box entirely. It doesn't look like there's a way to pass on the check to acquire a boon in the app. It would be great if that could be added, particularly once the adventure decks that entirely remove Basic and Elite cards from the game are out.
  11. Yeah, totally understand that, would be perfectly fine to just have this in the options, much like "show hints" and such.
  12. I don't have Scrying or a similar card that lets you examine a location deck you're not at, so I'm not sure how this works exactly, but I was wondering about the following: Let's say I use Seelah's ability to examine the top card of a deck. Then the app lets me tap Examine again later on to take a peek at the cards I already saw, so I don't have to remember. Which is absolutely great, I love that. However, it appears I can do this only at locations that are currently occupied, at least I've not found a way to zoom into a location that I'm not currently at? So if for example I saw the villain, then moved to a different location... if I forgot where the villain was, I don't see a way to find out other than moving to a location and hoping it was the right one, as the Examine button seems to only be there when I'm actually there too. Is there some way to get the Examine button on location decks other than the one I'm currently at? I know I can zoom out to the map to look at all the locations, but there's no Examine button for decks I should already know cards of there, and I can't seem to zoom in onto any other locations than the one I'm currently at.
  13. Unless this is already in the game and I just didn't find it, it would be super neat if the app were to display what the min/max and average of a given roll is before you roll, it helps a lot with decision making whether you should spend another card to get a better chance and such, and it would just be a lot quicker if I didn't have to calculate the average in my head every time (like I do in the physical card game), since the app could surely do it easily for me.
  14. I unlocked quest mode and wanted to try it. Regardless of which party I take (I've tried different ones, both with default starter decks and manually tweaked ones), when I try to play a scenario (also regardless of difficulty), I get the loading screen, the music fades out, and it stays stuck that way, leaving me only to quit and restart the app. I'm playing on an iPad 4 with iOS 9.3.1. I don't know if this is related, but I also have the issue some people (including myself) already reported in another thread of having gold reset to 0 and earning no further gold and all store items costing -1 gold. I am however quite certain I already had the 0 gold earning issue before I restarted the app because it was stuck loading into quest mode, since I believe I unlocked quest mode after beating The Poison Pill, and I already earnt 0 gold for that.
  15. I can confirm this issue, also playing on iPad (4 in this case). I did not buy gold, but I did buy the RotR bundle, which is still unlocked. I earnt gold for the tutorial and Brigandoom, but received 0 gold each for The Poison Pill and Black Fang's Dungeon, and I now have a total of 0 gold, and all items in the store for gold (that I do not own yet, like treasure chests) are listed at a price of -1 gold and can't be purchased.
