  1. I did although (while it didn't quite take me thirteen attempts) I didn't realise that first time through either. The little logic puzzle involved in that quest was one of the best in the game I think.
  2. My initial instinct was Guardian but after reading about the increased importance of skills I'm now thinking Sentinel (although I've never much cared for yellow lightsabers). Prestige Class? I'm leaning towards Weaponmaster (Sentinel/Weaponmaster in 'Sith Lords' seems like the equivalent of my favoured Scout/Guadian build in KotOR) but I'd like to actually read the manual first...
  3. You could become a lawyer, most of the former history students on this board seem to be!
  4. Amazon.co.uk said the 11th last time I checked, but I've also heard the 18th. Right now I'm believing the latter date just so I can be happy if it ships 'early'. I hope we get some confirmation soon, however, I really need to book a couple of days off work that weekend...
  5. Quite possibly less evil too! Although I work for local government, we're the nice lawyers... really
  6. Aye, we're coming out of the woodwork now- three legal connections on the one page (and my MA is in Modern History to boot). Let's hope that 'Sith Lords' contains more stuff like the Sunry murder trial so we can put our 'Jedi lawyer' skills to good use!
  7. My preference is for the Mace Windu-tastic purple, at least until I get the Heart and the Mantle. If nothing else it allows my character's sabers to stand out amongst the others in an all-Jedi party.
  8. It can be in tabletop gaming, especially if it interferes with everyone else's fun. In computer games, however, at least in solo play, the only person whose fun matters is you. I enjoy creating my ideal character build in games like KotOR, although definitions of 'ideal' will obviously vary.
  9. My favourite build (also Scout) is pretty similar except that I take Dex at 16 and Wis 10. This is because I go for a Guardian Light Side Master with the Wis boosting LS-only robe and headgear. I also prefer an all-Jedi party so with the likes of Jolee there to back me up I have more than enough force points for my needs. I take Dex at an even number because, as a Scout 8/ Guardian 12 I can hit Dex 26 from level ups and that level 3 implant which gives +5 Dex. In general I don't worry too much about odds or evens, if I can't make the best use of an item one of the NPCs usually can and items give both odd and even bonuses.
  10. I'm a trainee solicitor (sort of a halfway house between law school and becoming a fully qualified lawyer). I'm also new to these boards so "hello" to the rest of you. I'm eagerly awaiting 'Sith Lords' on the PC, but you'd probably guessed something of that sort already. I used to hang out at the bioware forums once upon a time but answering the same questions every couple of days (usually "How do I get the crystals on Yavin?") did my head in. Right now I'm replaying KotOR for the umpteenth time, just to see how well it looks and runs on my notebook PC.
  11. I don't recall that specifically, although perhaps the choice of 'HK' was meant to evoke that, as well as being an obvious pun on AK-47.
  12. T3M4 is an astromech/ utility droid like R2D2. HK-47 was a protocol droid of sorts- if/when you purchase him on Tantooine it's because he knows the Sand People language which is a standard protocol droid trait (cf C3PO), although I think HK was actually created as an assassin who emplyed 'protocol droid' as its cover).
