    (P4 + Overclocked 6800.... = Burnt bare legs) :geek:

Runs Half life 2 beautifully(all settings maxed, 4xAA 4x AS), but i saw the specs of "Crysis" and i'm a bit scared...

letsryde...down load this program. It'll tell you all kinds of good stuff about your system. It's a small download and best of all...it's free. :p

  2. When I'm made mod I'll fill your email with outstanding pr0n.

He's obviously just going to send out mass emails containing nothing but pictures of him in suggestive poses.

After receiving his last batch of pic, I'm trying to decide what to do, claw out my own eyes or his... :)

Real power as opposed to the illusion that any one truly has any power.... :)  You mean the Mods can see our email@??  :slightlyworriedaboutbeinginundatedwithmediocrepr0n:

Only the best of porn for Obsidian Entertainment members...will that be Michael Jackson images or Janet? :) if it's Janet, I can help you out. If it's Michael, I'll have to refer you to Fenghuang for the high quality images. :o I understand his subscription to 'Boy's Life' is about to renew.

  3. I understand that Prime Minister Tony Blair has strong opinions on veils too.  :)

Oh for the good old days when Arab women wearing veils were seen by westerners as demurely exotic!  :)

Meet me at midnight at the Oasis my darling!  :D

Well Barbara Eden did look pretty good. :o

She wasn't an Arab but pretended to be one on national TV. Does that count? :)

  4. Careful Tarna, Colrom will call you a bigot! :)

Namecalling is the first sign that you've lost an arguement. But then again one shouldn't let facts ( or the lack thereof ) get in the way of an emotional outburst and righteous indignation. Emotion is always so much a better way to run one's life than consideration of facts and logic. :o

My religious beliefs are being infringed!  Should I sue?

If you live in the US, certainly! Where's that whore Johnny Cokraine when you need him? :)

( Oh that's right, he's dead. God's paying him back for OJ. )

  5. The problem there Di is that she is the only minority there that has such dress restrictions working there.

And if I am the only one at work that wants to have a live chicken in my pants and the employer has a problem with that then I am a victim as well?

This is stupidity. Leave your religious articles at home. Pull them out when you want to impress God or your friends. You go to work to 'work', not to show off how pious you are.

  6. A minister has been accused of "reckless intervention" after he said a Muslim teaching assistant suspended for wearing a full veil should be sacked.

Phil Woolas told the Sunday Mirror that Aishah Azmi, 23, had "put herself in a position where she can't do her job".

But the Muslim Council of Britain said Mr Woolas, whose brief covers race relations, should not have interfered.

Meanwhile, Labour MP for Dewsbury Shahid Malik said the volume of Muslim stories was having a corrosive impact.

Ms Azmi said she had never received complaints from pupils at Headfield Church of England Junior School, in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, but was told her veil could not be worn in class.

She added she would remove the garment, but not in front of male colleagues.

    "The head teacher says "

Inayat Bunglawala, from the Muslim Council of Britain, said

    Labour peer Lord Ahmed said:

The Islamic Society of Britain said

Responding to Mr Woolas's critics, a spokesman for the Department for Communities and Local Government said:

Mr Malik, local MP for Dewsbury, added

    Ms Azmi's lawyer has called

    Kirklees Council earlier said

But Ms Azmi later admitted she had taken the veil off to be interviewed for the job by a male governor.

The Leader of the Commons, Jack Straw,

His comments were supported by shadow home secretary David Davis who, writing in the Sunday Telegraph, questioned whether a form of "voluntary apartheid" was being inadvertently encouraged.

It is truely heartening to see that England has more people with their head further up their ass than does the US ( at this particular time ). :D

Unbelievable! ( Actually, that's not true since I automatically expect the worst of people and they rarely disappoint me. )

  7. Just heard on the telly a few minutes ago that the US did verify radiation in the area indicating a nuclear blast. With the various interests being what they are, take this new info however you choose to.

I'm not one to take information at face value when the 'person' offering it has an agenda at stake. I would prefer to see the raw data ( ionization values, rad count, GM values, hell...even an electroscope ) for myself and make my own decision.

    EDIT...Hey, I just broke 200 posts! ( for me, that's something )

  8. Haha, their firecracker doesnt blow right and the backpedaling begins immediately.

I've been wondering about this 'Nuclear Test' since it happened. I'll bet the crazy son of a bitch dumped a kilo-ton or two of conventional explosive down a hole and lit the fuse to make everyone think he had a nuke so that now he can have the respect he 'deserves' in the eyes of the world.

  9. Symantec also...

    Internet / Network Security

    From Tony Bradley, CISSP-ISSAP,

Symantec and McAfee Take Issue With Planned Vista Security

Microsoft is wrapping up the final stages of tweaking Vista to get it ready for its official release. Vista includes a number of security updates and changes in the way the operating system works that are aimed at making it more secure. Some security vendors, particularly Symantec and McAfee, have taken issue with some of the changes though. According to an Information Week article, the vendors claim that Microsoft's lockdown of access to the OS kernel will block their ability to protect the system. If the security features were flawless, and worked 100% of the time, that might not be a problem. But, if malware writers find a weak spot, Vista-users won't have a security solution. It is somewhat of a catch-22 for Microsoft. Users expect the operating system to be stable and secure by default and complain loudly about having to augment the OS with various 3rd-party products in order to get that security. But, when they try to lock down and secure the system themselves, users reflect on Microsoft's track record and they are cautious about trusting them or putting all of their security 'eggs' in Microsoft's 'basket'.

  10. Needs fan and watercooling daaaaaaang

That's just plain-ass dumb. It adds an huge addition cost to the user that is just trying to keep ahead of the game. Incorporate peltier cooling into the graphics board and have done with the water cooled portion. Thermo-electric cooling=70 watts per unit. Requiring water-cooling is just stupid.

  11. Yes, this is spam. Pure unapologetic, unremorseful advertising for a non profit publication  (w00t)

Help spread the word and the love of Fish (blessed be the holy Mackerel).

And last but not least, Joseph Avery-North (Josan) on the technical difficulties in reconciling a hedonistic lifestyle with celibacy. Tricky, tricky... "The art of celibacy":

Now at any point in the past, when a relationship ended, I mourned for a bit then went in search of some sexual healing and left the next woman who crossed my path sweat soaked and breathless on the floor.

    But not this time.

    Nope.

    Happy reading  :luck:

Spam indeed! You offer us a link headed by the literary wonder that spends his time diktating into the microphone of a billy goat. ;) Didn't his topic of "The art of celibacy" go out the window when he was caught "trying to help" a goat over a fence? I mean, Josan is a good Joe even if he is a Michael Jackson fan but come on, 'Beat It'? Indeed! The man has the nickname of 'Fur-paw'! ( and I don't think it was because he got a skin graft from his own armpits! ).

    And it looks like this...

  13. Tell your dad that I recommend he try an enema to help him get over himself. A signature does not need to conform to the conventional rules as it is an analogy to a fingerprint. I had a buddy at one time who's last name was Mountain. His sig was written Mt. His first name was Cliff. Believe it or not his dad's name was Rocky. Obviously the family had a pretty good sense of humour. :D

  14. Bah, two weeks my eye. You don't live up north here. We get months of that stuff.

You live up by Ft. Collins I take it. :D

...even when it's 30 it does not feel very cold.  of course, this could be due to a lack of oxygen.

    taks

Being very dry air, it has less water content in it to absorb heat from your body.

We should probably get back on topic and take this conversation over to taks' "Let it snow" thread.

  15. I could really live without Denver i guess. But its just fun to ski!

Hey! Don't talk smack about Denver's weather :( . We have better winter weather than California. Most of the snow goes to the mountains while we enjoy mostly sunny weather in the city. We get about two weeks ( on average ) of 'cold as a son-of-a-bitch' weather each winter. The rest of the time I just wear a light work jacket.

  17. There has been talk about this sort of thing before but I'd heard that even something as thin as tin foil would block such waves. What's to stop people simply from making caps or hats to block these rays?
