  1. The subject of this report may or may not be Kaftan Barlast.

Kaft: All console games must die, they steal PC exclusives and make them console exclusives there should be more games on the PC and not Console.

Poster X: But Kaft, wouldn't that mean making games exclusive for the PC, and are you not proposing that the PC get more exclusives and console less?

    Kaft: Maybe.

Poster X: Can't we all just get along?

    Kaft: No!

Kaft: I hate all comics and cartoons that use an anime style because they put hard working western artists out of business.

Poster X: But Kaft, sometimes manga comics generally have much more in depth and consistent storylines than western comics, a lot of the time they even have endings!

    Kaft: Damn kids!

Kaft: Yeah, check out this <insert foreign film here> it's in Swedish but it is totally sweet and awesome.

Poster X: But Swedish is horribly grating on the ears!

Kaft: At least it's not that Hollywood dreck, capitalism sux, socialism FTW!

Poster X: But Kaft, some great stuff comes out of Hollywood along with the crap, and they follow tried and true marketing and business structures, Hollywood movies are by and large the most successful in the world!

    Kaft: DAMN CAPITALISTS!

  2. For someone who hates everything he doesn't like you sure could learn a lot from Hollywood.

By exporting and franchising our crappy films, we have made the majority of the population like them, when the majority of the population likes something, you get more of it. Geez.

  3. Also, I got it for a grand.

When rich people are getting worse mileage in their gigantic SUVs that they use for roughly the same purpose and put roughly the same amount of miles on, and pay upwards of $50,000 to buy, it puts it in perspective.

  4. Can they give it better mileage, because really that is all I would care about.

Right now I'm guessing I'm getting about fifteen miles to the gallon, but I haven't finished the tank off yet. Good for this kind of car, but not great.

  5. Hey guys is this a good place to announce I finally found a car?

1985 Cutlass Supreme, it is a 'midsize' but it's fuggin' huge.

Got it for a grand, only parts that are in bad shape are the mouldings around the doors and other rubber parts that deteriorated and aren't easily/neccessary to replace. Already smogged.

Engine is pristine minus one belt that's stretched a bit as it aged, I'll be replacing it soon.

    Whee!

  6. What are we to say, Child?  Many people get better briefly before they die.  I didn't know your mom was dead.  I'm sad to hear it.

Let's hope meta's loved one gets better and does not die.

...But none of us will escape death in the long run.  It is a road we must all travel in the end.

I meant the dead was the better. Freed from her mortal coil and all that jazz. I'm not upset about it, and I wasn't then, she was in a lot of pain before she died, and life just isn't really worth livin' when it has that sort of quality.

I am going to engage in something different for the next review.  I will write a report on two people at the same time.  Don't feel slighted, Child and Surreptishus, You'll both get a full length review.  Longer even, as I do a comparison review between the two of you.

Not only that, but I have A LOT of things to say about both of you.  hahaha

Oh, I'd say sorry about the double post, but I won't.  I simply feel no guilt about double or triple posting.  Meanwhile, if any of you would like to do a review of other folks, I'd appreciate it.  So far, KQD and Pixies are the only folks helping out with the reports.  Come on, folks!

    I already feel slighted.

  7. Hmm...well, bargain bins it is, then.

Gabe and Tycho tell me it's down to $20 at any Gamestop or EBGames, I plan on picking it up next time I'm down there. That's the Collector's Edition, not the reg'lar one, with the fancy tin case, DVD medium, and comics and goodies and junk! I'm a fan of the series, but cashflow was short when it was released and still is, and I figured I played the other two late, because I didn't know they were awesomeness, so I've just been playing my demo over, and over, and over, staring at the graphics that make my computer's GPU go all a pitter patter.

I don't know where the hell you'd get it in heathen countries though.

Is it "really" that much of an overhaul?

When I read the interview at the link it didn't seem like that big of a change IMO.

In reality? Probably not. In my mind? Enough to make me worry. I'm known to exaggerate heavily. It's not the mechanics that are bothering me so much as the overall feel of it. It's just... different. I'll most likely love it, but until then it seems funky to me.

Where does it talk about Sarah being dead? I didn't see anything about it there. Also I've changed my mind about this game. Sam was already a rather dark, cynical character. Even if they did kill his daughter and he's even more cynical because he's in a rougher spot, it'll be more in character than the change from light, whimsical sarcasm (Sand of Time) to OMG EMO (Warrior Within).

    Does this one have co-op?

    In the game, with terr'ists!

What feels so different about it though? The only real difference is that there seems to be alternate paths. It still sounds like there will be a heavy amount of sneaking around in the game. I don't get where people say "Warrior Within all over again" or anything like that.

I guess it is different in that it's not "Do missions for Lambert." Sounds like he started off like that, but then got captured.

It just sounded that way to me upon first glance, mostly because it's kind of the same premise (lost everything, on the run from bad stuffs etc.). Mulling it over I don't think it will be, and now I really want this game too.

Actually its a little embarassing the number of unopened games sitting on my shelf.

No, it is not embarassing, it is shocking.

How can such things can be done? Don't you have a burning desire to play a game you just bought? I open the game package before I leave the store. Maybe because I only buy games I really want to play.

I generally manage to wait until I get to the car if it's a new game, but only because I'm worried I'll lose some of the stuffs in the box!

  8. I think we'd have a severe shortage of males before too long.

The fear would be an incentive for them to get it right.

Why even bother if you're not willing to get it right?

Seriously though, if you're doing something other than missionary (namely oral) it's not really all that hard to please your woman.

On the flipside, a little direction helps now and then.

  9. I leave tracks because sometimes I like to go back to stuff I've already found. :(

It's my own computer and I didn't expect the little ****er to go on it when everyone else was gone.

  10. I look for a lot of porn. And my younger brother did exactly that and ratted me out to my dad for no reason other than to embarrass me. It's not like I'm underage...anymore.

Thank goodness for technical answers that are completely illogical to anyone but the computer illiterate.
