  1. Let me know how it is. I had the first one free on PS4, it was just "okay" and nothing special. I ended up getting bored and eventually trading it in. However, the sequel may be totally different. K.

Spent around 100 hours, reached endgame.

Overall it's nice experience, but endgame grind is useless if you have no fireteam.

Clan and time management is necessary.

Not the best choice for single person, cause you'll never accomplish the challenging part of the game.

On Dec 5 they will probably add first dlc with 5 more levels to current cap (20) and more to power level.

PvP is weird, but can be fun, can play as a solo player quick matches without any problem right from the start :)

    A good game overall.

  2. These are two completely different games.

That's like comparing oranges and apples.

D:OS II had a blast on me, took away almost 160 hours, but due bugs I have no desire to play it anymore, maybe later, but not at this state.

I really hope Deadfire will give me a blast too.

I expect from it not less then BG2 / Fallout 2 experience.

Hopefully the game will be great and without any crucial bugs like D:OS II.

  3. I'll stick in here my 5 cents :)

Pre-buffing is just a time waste and a bit of a cheat, it's fair you can do buffs in combat.

So the character that gives buffs in more dedicated on giving those buffs (supporting) in combat rather then doing damage or something like that.

Without pre-buffs you spend your turn in combat to gain that advantage, not nullifying danger of getting punished for that action - it's more interesting.

  4.

Still hope they change “Fessina” to something that doesn’t have a meaning in Italian...

Ok, I'll bite: what does "fessina" mean? Because dict.cc, leo.org and all the others have no clue... ;)

Found only meaning for "fassina" - something like distillery, but I guess it's just a name, nothing more to that.

On the other hand, from Latin, "fessa" means fatigue - that explains her tired look at first portrait :)

  5. For some reason I just don't want to accomplish all achievements for D:OS 2 anymore...

I'm a bit frustrated seeing how many bugs there are without good fixes, fixing first braking second and so on...

  6. Played through it. I thought that it would be my new favorite game and I was right. True, the third act was short, but the writing and story was still strong, so at least the third act didn't fall apart like in D:OS1. There are still some bugs tho' and I hope they can detect and fix them. Now I will rest, because those were 138 hours in one sitting on hard. I need a rest. And sleep :D.

My hopes for the future of the game:

    - More quests in the third act, so it is at least as fleshed out as Fort Joy.

    - They could rebalance the last fight a bit. On paper it is better than the one in D:OS1, but it is so hard, I feel itcan't be done alone and

the support NPC's do to good a job. Lucian and Dalis are just too powerful and I felt quite impotent at their side. But I played it on TACTITIAN, so maybe the balance better on CLASSIC.

I've done it alone on tactician, the game is pretty easy.

And the party of two Lone Wolves will just rip the content like a molten blade through the butter.

Waiting for fixes to complete for honor.

In the third patch they've done some poor decisions nerfing Act 2 experience, and now you are getting 0 exp for killing violate and vicious voidlings, but easily over 10k exp for mere exploration. That feels wrong...

  7. DHL continue to be an easy counterpoint to the stereotypical notion of German efficiency, but my CE box finally arrived today. Heard some horror stories about poor packaging, but I guess I'm fortunate in that because I bought some extra apparel as add-ons, they were packed in a larger box alongside the box containing the CE. As a result, though the outer box was banged up a fair bit, the merchandise is in pristine condition.

Gotta say it's the best Kickstarter CE I've seen thus far, and it's up there with the Witcher 3 CE as the most premium game package I own. The Fane statuette is very well constructed and is the kind of thing that retailers would sell for $100+ alone and the two hardcover books are lovely too with embossed covers, better than your typical D&D sourcebook or whatnot.

Can't wait to get Eothas statue :)
