  1. Finally, 30 % of damage only is also for boost the fighter. : p

     

    It seem  like Obsidian create Pillars 2 for the Fighter and tanks : p

     

    But with this attitude, you punish team glass canon like the one I have on POE1.

     

    Except if there a tone of penetration that stack for reach x2 (only +30 % damage boost...), glass canon is actually punish. favor in attack : Average. Favor in defense : Very high. It is a actual game and system design.

     

    the system asks us to create a character with average stats and the biggest armor.

     

    Combos are limited, since simply to reach 100%, no more, no less (In attack. Give full attack, sufficient) or to be below 100% no more no less (In defense, 30 % sufficient to tank). We turn around the average. 

     

    The game does not push to take risks and is very closed. Curious to see the fights against the big bosses ...

    I've reached 13 penetration as fighter with warhammer...

  2. So far my impression is that changes “gameplay wise” are,for the better. Classes are more distinct, they nicely complement each other in combat. All of them bring something unique to the table. Creating characters is fun - choosing between subclasses, multiclassing, thinking how you can combo strengths and mechanics of both classes.

     

    What is not fun though is levelling up. It feels to me that after choices made in character creation there isnlt much to do afterwards. Our paths are pretty much laid out for us. Multiclassing doesn’t seem like an expansion of what was possible in pIllars1, but rather a more clearer but more limited rebranding of PoE1’s system.

    Let's not forget it's not path of exile :)

    Some other weird things I got were Merc Rogue hitting herself constantly with her Blunderbuss, without being Charmed. Just recently I also got some enemies (only one I can remember right now is Engwithan Titan) just dropping dead when Near Death without any indication as to who killed it (the log just says "Engwithan Titan was killed"). The Titan also didn't look like it was hurt quite enough for a single hit from any of my characters to have one-shotted it.

     

    Neglected to get screenies but I might try again tomorrow.

  4. I got no crashes at all.

    Only two things bothering me at current state:

    First time you enter Poko Kohara Ruins - massive frame drop for 10 seconds or so, then stabilizes.

    After playing around an hour when you exit the game it never exits correctly, always  hangs up, so you have to shut down it through task manager. (waiting for response)

  5. Interesting how long will it take to fix all bugs in beta.

    Hopefully there will be an update soon, fixing all mentioned issues, so we could find out more.

    If that's just tiny bit of the game, one can imagine how many bugs there are...

    I prefer to wait more than to have raw and unpolished game.

    1. When choosing godlike body types there is [Temp] tag that's intentional? 

    Same for level up description, but only: tp

    2. When you find Beza's body - soul stays even after you've done every option, shouldn't it just dismiss as other souls?

    3. At Poko Kohara Ruins, after you reach the adra pillar, there is a second doorway to 3rd level of a dungeon (adra pillar), but it seems it's out of place.

    Final stage, after using "worthy sacrifice" on your team member - not happening, except that member is standing still (w/o any animatiom) and you can't pick him, all red, like dead.

    But really, the question is about Beza's Toothed Blade - it shouldn't have any damage?

     

    Quests:

     

    Broodmother's Fury:

    - Is not closing when you freeing Lagufaeth from cage and informing the Broodmother (but you receive exp and necklace)

    - Is not closing after you bring Broodmother Head to Himuihi 

    Only closing after Himuihi death.

     

    Plucked Fruit:

    Seems you can't do it.

    I just can't find anything else, the quest closes on Mukumu's death, though.

    Have you done it correctly?

    With Perception 18+ you can find fruit near the shore, but that solves nothing. 

    Quest ends if you tell that Tamau is guilty, but that seems incorrect.

     

    Misc:

     

    Rikuhu's Blessing - game gives no information about that blessing.

     

    Xakoras. Curse of Nightmares - stays for ages, is that intentional? 

     

    Nature Godlike perk - "wellspring of life" is not giving +2 to power level

     

    Saw somwhere on forum, just confirming:

    - Hair turns white after putting headgear on companions and loading the game.

     

    - Devoted fighter gives -10 to all weapons, has more than one weapon proficiency.

  7. At current state I feel it's really too simplified with current level system.

     

    All there is now - attack, defense and some kind of utility thing (almost useless as I see it)

     

    If you can mix the strongest points in each class - why wouldn't you?

    There is no reason to stay in single class without any additional skills like we had in PoE I...

     

    Still I have to do some testing, right now it's too early to tell.

  8. Flickering hud (empower star) freaks me out a lot.

    It feels like my eyes emerging from the sockets.

     

    Everything seems to be learned anew...

    On PotD every starting party member die almost by one shot, except fighter with shield that seems to be very durable - weird.

    Wizard has too long casting time.

    Still uncertain with weapon mods, are they good to have activated all the time or not (swapping refresh for penetration or more defense)...
