I must say I have tried to keep away from these forums and from being spoiled too much.. I want to experience it myself. And I have not played the beta so I dont want to criticize. But I will say this, Every other company that have tried to make a casting system generic have in my opinion failed. A wizard for example Should in my opinion be your ace in the arm. He is a fragile little thing that you will have to protect and keep safe and does only low/medium damage until that time when your enite party is in deep ****.. Its only then you release him. And hopefully win the day I love that feeling and that level of strategy involved. I only hope the new casting system does not make every fight feel generic and remove those strategic elements that i love so much.

What happens to the pets in PoE1 when you import your save file? Do they get imported as well? or do you loose them?

There sure was some interesting ideas on this topic! The only thing Im really hoping for is that we are able to customize the stronghold to some extent. I would love to have something like in NWN where you need reasources to be able to build things in your stronghold and not just money/gold (But Im reasonably sure this will be the case) The truth is that I have great confidence in Obisian to get this to be a very enjoyable experience, which for me is kind of unusual these days...

I kinda like how in old-school turn-based RPGs, sometimes you'd be able to read about 50-60 books in a library, but your character would basically open it up and skim it for some tidbit. Usually it would be something informative about a creature, or place in the world, or some hint as to the location of some ruins, etc. This was overly simplified, as these were much simpler games, but I think it wouldn't be preposterous to be able to read many, many books in a book-lined room, but have most of them only provide small glints of information. Think of it like a Skill check. "Your character read through this book for an hour, and this is what they managed to find that was of any use or relevance to anything that they know of." I agree completely would be a great way to do it!

As Hormalakh said, be able to dye your armor! And I would want a bookshelf view, always found it strange that when an entire bookshelf is seen with books you are only able to read one or two of them... Think this could be better..
