  1. The original Dune was an interesting one. It had a pretty neat narrative to go along with it, and a lot of the early stuff is more adventure game than strategy game.

    A ton of fun.

Didnt count it for that, the strategy one would be the Dune II: Building of a Dinasty or the Dune 2000 who is the same game but with better graphics, the old Warcraft: Orcs and Humans was good too or the Warlords Battlecry series

I'd probably recommend the original Dune over either of the other Dune games to be honest.

If you're looking for a RTS game, there are better games to try than the Dune games IMO.

Thorton, i said that games talking about old games

Slowtrain, i suppose is talking about MoO I and MoO II only because the MoO III was only :x , the old Lords of the Realm I and II were average too

  3. How detailed do you want your management role to be? EU III style (my current favourite balance between strategic and operational management)? Hearts of Iron style (mid level detail)? Victoria - an Empire under the Sun (suicide by micromanagment) style?
Victoria is awesome. Market dynamics, internal politics, international relations, migrations and, of course, war in the advent of the industrial revolution. No tactical battles, though.

"Suicide by micromanagement" for some (), Paradox's finest for others. And Vicky2 is coming out soon!

Victoria is good but, the work and the nerves........

If we are talking about old games, Syndicate and the Generals Series (Panzer General, Allied General, Panzer General II, Pacific General, People's General and Fantasy General) or the Emperor: Battle for Dune

  4. I support Israel because:

    a) I admire their perseverance and will to fight (Israel has essentially been at war in one form or another since day one)

    b) I'm inclined to dislike their enemies by default and we've had nothing but good relations with them

  5. I think the big difference in 2002 was that SK bribed half the referees. Just look at their matches against Italy & Spain.

No Virumor, Spain had players to score 3-4 goals to a team like Korea, true the referee quit us 2 legal goals, but if they wouldnt be so tired (long league and very bad fitness in some of the Primera Divisi

  6. Looks like this time Spain nailed it.

Of course, the match still isn't finished, but they're dominating so far (I must admit, I didn't see all of the first half though).

Dont worry, they need win Chile to pass and doubt they do it, this isnt the same team who won the Euro, as said Luis, this time didnt play to win they only think in their holidays :bat:

  7. All they can achieve are symbolic victories, continuing the bombardment despite a heavy Israeli presence could be considered one, reminiscent of Hezbollah.

Israel had to stop the attack against Lebanon before destroy Hezbollah, theorically would be the UN Forces who avoid new attacks from South Lebanon

  8. Here we have other point of view about this situation :)

    In English would be:

1.- Russia cant invade Sovereign nations

2.- That is OUR job
