  1. Oculus Rift trademark being disputed by Oculu

Apparently Oculu has no problem with any of the other businesses basing their name on the word "ocular" and doesn't quite understand what the Oculus Rift actually is.

Ooh, even better, there's a business called Oculus Inc. Guess it'd be a bit hard for Oculu  to go after them since they were founded before the technology that makes Oculu possible was invented.

  2. The fact that King.com is attacking people for infringing on a trademarked word that isn't even trademarked yet should really, really count against them. They might have gotten away with this if they'd waited the apparent month that's allowed for people to place complaints against trademark applications; as it is, they're now going to have everyone with "Candy" or "Saga" filing complaints to stop it.

Considering their apparent "need" to attack everyone using these words, I wonder what's going to happen if they send one against Xenosaga.

It looked ahead of its time when it was originally released in 2005, and those visuals still hold up.

Haha, didn't they have to overhaul the graphics with a huge patch as the game looked like ass when it was released?

Resident Evil 4 on its native console was ahead of its time; the PC port was one of Ubisoft's many shamefully shoddy creations from that period. The re-re-release is hopefully going to avoid that.

  3. La-Mulana 2

Sequel to La-Mulana, developed by the creators of the original

'nuff said really; if you liked the original and want more, they're offering

    To The Death

Side-scrolling action/shooter game focusing on a vendetta between two warriors who killed each other, now trapped in what amounts to limbo

Video includes prototype gameplay; the split-screen concept for two players, each controlling one warrior racing toward the other, sounds intriguing

  4. You could always argue Walking Dead is more a Western-style visual novel than a video game. It has a greater emphasis on story-telling and character interaction than gameplay, which puts it more towards the visual novel end.
