  1. Hello to all old school RPG fans. I already posted about same issue, but I think there are some unclear point. so I post again. I'm a kickstarter backer who live in South Korea. So, I have a POE kickstarter royal edition( steam version) When I funded POE kickstarter, there is no Korean language in POE. Then ,the original POE is localized in Korean by Korean publisher. But when they finished localizing, the Korean localization service is only available to the one who bought the POE from Korean publisher directly. I can understand that. Few months later, Korean publisher decided that they give the Korean localization service to kickstarter backers, for free. That's very generous act and I appreciated that. So, I can access Korean localized original POE. But with White March Part 1, there are some problems. I bought WM Part 1 via Korean publisher directly. But when I play WM Part 1, every dialogue and speech is saying in English. Other people who bought POE and WM part 1 via Korean publisher now can play WM part in Korean language. Only kickstarter backer can not play WM part 1 with Korean language. in the "\data_expansion1\localized" folder, there is no 'ko' or 'kr' folder. but there are 'en', 'es', 'de' and other language in the "\data\localized" folder, there is 'ko' folder. I removed entire game, and Korean localization DLC, and White March Part and reinstalled all of them, but nothing is changed. it is very much terrible situation. I just keep looking other people playing WM part in Korean language. I think this is some kind of steam subscription problem. Korean localization service is provided with steam DLC form. Maybe this Korea localization DLC could not support Kickstarter royal edition. Of course I asked Korean publisher about this problem. And they answer like 'go to Obsidian and ask about it' So, I came here. I have a kickstarter royal edition of POE original(in STEAM) I bought White March part 1 via Korean publisher(STEAM version) I can not play White March part 1 in Korean. I can play original POE in Korean. I want to playing White March part 1 in Korean. I think this is about some kind of STEAM subscription issue with kickstarter edition-Korean localization DLC. that's all. Thanks for listen!
  2. Thanks for your answer. I have checked that I have Korean Localization DLC and it is enable. And I reinstalled Korean Localization DLC, and entire game also, even WM part 1 too. And still, English is coming out when I play WM part. And also, in my Pillars of Eternity\PillarsOfEternity_Data\data_expansion1\localized folder there are de, en, es, fr, it, pl, ru but no ko folder. And Korean publisher confirm that they give me correct Steam Key. Ah...should I restart entire game for seeing Korean language? Because until now, I keep playing my game with old save data.
  3. I have a kickstarter royal edition of original POE. The publisher for Korea localized POE to Korean. But at the first time, kickstarter edition didn't support Korean language. About one month later, they decided to share a localized version of POE to kickstater. (I appreciated that) And I think the same thing is happen to White March! I bought a expansion pass via Korean publisher. The other player which is not kickstater edition can play the White March in Korean. But for me, text of White March part is spoken in English Other text are still in Korean. Language option in game is set to 'Korean'. Language option in STEAM is set to 'English' but I can not find 'Korean' option in option tab on STEAM. So I go to the folder which POE is installed. and I found that in 'localized' folder(in \data_expansion) there is no 'kr' or 'ko' folder but it still have 'en','de', 'es', or other language. I reinstalled POE, and did everything I can. I guess it is some kind of subscription problem on STEAM. so, I asked about this problem to Korean publisher, and they keep saying "the other people who bought that game from us still playing game in Korean. you should ask developer about this problem." so...here I am. is there any way that I can play the WM in Korean?
  4. thanks for your information! now I know that it was an issue between Paradox-H2. hope some good news, thanks I haven't purchased this game yet but definitely want to find out if Steam/Mac App Store versions support Korean language. This Korean company only sells Windows version unfortunately. I've been googling and I see posts that GoG versions support Korean. And I even found this interesting link: https://steamdb.info/app/367720/ According to the link above, Korean language is available for owners on Steam as DLC and the localization supports all platforms. Could you guys please confirm if this means I can get Korean support on Steam or Mac App Store versions? yes, I know that Korean language is available for steam as DLC. but it was only allowed for people who buy POE through Korean publisher( aka H2 interactive). if I bought POE through steam, I couldn't get Korean language DLC, and kickstarters are same. and you too. if you purchase POE directly from steam, you can't get korean DLC. and in my case, if I bought POE through H2, I can not register POE with Korean DLC in my steam library not until I remove my old POE(kickstart edition) because they are the same game! what a terrible story!
