  1. Bleak Walkers definitely win for most interesting paladin order yet revealed. Yet I have to wonder how their mercilessness is defined, given their stated purpose is "to bring a swift end to conflicts". When the Bleak Walkers are unleashed, are their terms "surrender [under these harsh and non-negotiable terms] or die", or is it too late to even surrender if they are finally called to battle, with the mere threat of their presence used to coerce?

I would imagine terms of surrender are set by the noble who (hired? deployed?) them, not the Walkers themselves. If he wants everyone salughtered to make a point, they will oblige. If all he wants is capitulation as quickly as possible, they can do that too.

  2. Ok, i'm still absolutely shattered to hear not much wilderness and no more companions. Devastating to hear people actually rejoicing this! Unbelievable, absolutely incomprehensible for me to be pleased with that. Mind boggling. If i could get my hands on you lot...

Eh. I voted against additional stretch goals and would happily do so again. Frankly, I even think the Endless Paths is a bit silly.

Great story/characters, solid mechanics, and polish polish polish. That's a good game. Not content for the sake of content.

  3. Awesome art :)

I wish people wouldn't use ship dates like "Winter 2014", the seasons are different in other parts of the world so dates like that mean nothing to those outside of America (well we can work it out but it's still anoying).

    End hemisphereism now!

C'mon... think of something better to complain about. All calendar and time references are for California, USA. Do the rather simple math(s) to translate to your region.

  4. There are two gaming PCs in my house. One sits next to my TV with a 360 controller wireless receiver attached, and one sits under my desk. I love using the Steam Box (which is how I think of it) for lots of games, but there are certain types of games that just work better with keyboard & mouse. The thought of trying to play an Infinity Engine-style game with a console controller makes me very, very sad.

  5. Man, that's sad. So Josh will not see our awesome birthday thread? Damnit!

Also: thanks to Adam for answering questions! Greatly appreciated. I hope wee see you folks more often here :)

Edit: Another question for Adam. I know that PE is set somewhere between the 15th and 17th century technologically (and regarding clothing) speaking. But it has been established, that printing press wasn't invented in PE. Is there a specific reason? Because it strikes me as kind of odd that in a world where you have a lot of guns (you said they were common) and magic, the printing press doesn't exist?

Loosely based on 15th-17th century earth tech but, of course, PE world isn't really historical earth. Technological innovation doesn't have to follow earth's pattern. It would be easier to manufacture guns in a world with printed schematics, but not necessarily a requirement.
