  1. We're not talking about graphics whores that loved Fallout several years ago, but rather people that never played Fallout several years ago, and are just picking it up for the first time. That seems to be the situation that those claiming to have issues with the graphics are. Neither, because they didn't play it. Anyone that has played Fallout before, and is willing to go back and play it again, probably liked the game when they first played it. Otherwise they probably wouldn't bother playing it again. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> And what about me? I was one of those that didn't play F/O when it first came out. Games like BGDA, Freelancer, and other games blew F/O graphics away... The difference was that I enjoy gameplay, and if it has nice graphics, that's nice, but if it doesn't...it's more about the gameplay than graphics. Heck, Pacman is still a great game these many years, so is tetris. Graphically they might not be up to par, but gaming is about the experience...not the bling bling. And of course, as I stated above in my prior post...it IS in my opinion afterall. Hence, since it's my opinion, I'm right about my opinion regardless of what the facts are.
  2. That's crap. The best graphics at the time are always the best graphics at the time. People that are graphics mongers love the high end graphics of today. They probably won't later, but to say something that they won't like games for 20-30 years because those graphics then will make today's graphics look bad is just silly. It's not just graphics, but also interface issues and other things like that. After experiencing good games with good graphics, it can be hard to go back to good games with poor graphics. Especially if you haven't played it before. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah right. I enjoy a game with good graphics IF (and many times that's a BIG if) the game has good gameplay. If it doesn't...well. And if it does, that doesn't diminish how much I liked games prior to that. However, ironically, if some graphics whore said that they loved a F/O several years ago, but now says it stinks and the graphics are terrible...I suppose they really DIDN'T enjoy now did they. In that light, since they can't enjoy those games now...did they really enjoy those games then??? Or truly speaking, did they just think they enjoyed it, but now in reflection with better graphics, whenever playing an older game with worse graphics and they are a "kick in the groin" to quote, or "graphics are rotten" or "graphics are terrible" or any number of other responses about graphics...and hence can't enjoy the game because of said graphics...obviously they truly didn't enjoy it...and to enjoy is something that normally continues with time. The graphics didn't change, nor did the ability of the game, the fads of the newest and bestest did. And if someone enjoys it just because of a fad because of how the graphics look...are they really enjoying it??? Of course you should realize that I'm probably the minority in the US that goes more for the Oriental ideas of gameplay and flavor over graphics and impressive computer muscle car specs (preferring gas mileage and compactibility instead for a parallel). However, that doesn't mean I don't think graphics are a good thing, but I think those who base their enjoyment upon them, are limiting themselves. Just look at the PS3, I'm certain it's going to probably have a LOT more RPGs, turnbased games, strategy games, and other such games than the Xbox. However that doesn't mean that it's a power wimp. It's quite powerful, but they realize that gameplay is king, and that older games gameplay don't disappear , and hence have a greater backwards compatibility with Older games, even to the PS1...than American Consoles such as Xbox360 (which is slowly learning that some people LIKE to play older games and it's not all bling bling).
  3. That is my pet theory, without evidence to the contrary: two months before Christmas is the PRIME REAL-ESTATE of game release dates. Is it going to be single-player, or a MMORPG? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I didn't know they released on the same date. That's actually NOT good news. There's a LOT of PS2 gamers out there (I'm one of them), and I'm certain given a choice of one or the other some are going to choose FFXII (I'm not getting FFXII when it comes out, I'll wait for a price drop, but I am getting NWN2 when it comes out sooooo...).
  4. Hmm, for those who say the graphics are bad...well...I'd rather have a good gameplay rather than graphics ANYDAY OF THE WEEK. Personal opinion. Each their own. Some people think graphics are the be all and end all of a game, other's graphics. I appreciate good graphics, but I'd rather have an enjoyable game rather than graphical feats. In fact it seems many games that concentrate on graphics aren't all that great...many times. On the otherhand, some I suppose don't enjoy a game without good graphcis (pity that, since they won't be able to truly enjoy a good game for another 20 to 30 years probably, since in twenty years the graphics of today will look practicallys toneage). On fallout itself, ironic I just reinstalled it yesterday on a Win98 machine (I can't seem to get it to run on the XP machine, but haven't tried that hard, just installed on the 98 machine instead). Personally I thought PS:T was a better game, and of all the BI games personally BG2 is my favorite (though I know some think BG is better). FO is okay, and enjoyable, but it's not as high on my list as other people put it on theirs.
  5. Yes, that is correct. Why aren't you still using that old 286? Not enough GFLOPS. Nintendo survives by providing great gameplay experiences. That still doesn't excuse a 729 MHz processor with 64 MB of 243 MHz RAM and a 243 MHz GPU with 24 MB of 486 MHz RAM (exactly the same as the Gamecube, except Nintendo claims it is 1.5x faster..) for $250. Oh, I forget. You also get a defunct DVD-player for that price, plus a gimmicky controller that noone knows how it works in reality. I really hope the nunchuck (or whatever it's called) is fantastic. Both the Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3 are more expensive. On the other hand, they won't feel like dinosaurs in two years time (hopefully). Is it worth the extra $$$? Who knows. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, Nintendo didn't win the console race between it and sega by always having the latest and greatest. There was a point when Sega had a system that was 4 times as good as Nintendo, and Nintendo STILL won. The difference on the Nintendo and Xbox war however, is that the Xbox can lose millions, and even Billions of dollars, and Nintendo will never win...why??? Because Xbox is put out by MS, and up until about a year ago was artificially supported by MS...otherwise it would have been defunct in the first year or two. The reasoning why Nintendo might do well deals with Japanese gamers, and those in the US with the same mindset. Many who use Xboxes might not even be able to comprehend that mindset, and of course, many Japanese gamers might not be able to comprehend the mindset of one who is an Xbox gamer. However, in the US one of the big things is the ability to play the past games and their handheld games on a TV. FF3 updated on TV...hell yes. Forget that 3.5 inch (or whatever size it is) screen. That's why I got a GC/GC player, and if I get a Wiiiiii, that's why I'll probably get it as well for the DS games (if they have that hookup). Many Nintendo gamers think of graphics second, and gameplay first. If it's a game they want, then as long as it's somewhat eyepleasing...it doesn't matter. Of course their is also a more favorable view towards what some would call railroading, and turnbased games in Japanese RPGs as opposed to the Western slant of more open ended and action RPGs in the West. Japanese also tend to try more quirky and innovative items, which has been exemplified by the DS, and now the Wiii, as well as many of their games (many of course which don't come to the US...for some reason I don't think a game where you play how to make different types of tea and sell it really appeals to US gamers. Perhaps they are wrong though, katamari DID do rather well here. Sony also has this under control and under their belt and do great control for their Japanese and US portions. I think Nintendo hasn't handled their US portion for the console market as well as Sony. Part of this is that they simply don't release many of the games made for the Nintendo systems in the US, keeping them in Japan since they believe the appeal for those games wouldn't transfer well to the US. Sony does the same thing, but not quite as much (which results in some awesome games for their consoles...in my opinion of course). There is always the Xbox/PC idea that I have against the XBox I suppose as I stated earlier, any good games for those systems will eventually come out on PC, but there's even more. Simply put, the Xbox doesn't really come out with enough games that I'd want to play compared to a system like...Sony's consoles. Nintendo doesn't either...but when you toss in their library of GBA games, and handheld games (and now with the backwards compatibility and hopefully options to get all their other older games) their library opens up extensively. Also Sony has been concentrated on Backwards compatibility, which means I pay $600 dollars for their system, and I can STILL play ALL my old games (though Xbox360 has a lot of backwards compatibility now, it still doesn't have it for all their games...plus I didn't get any Xbox games anyways so it does me no good) which increases my library of their games...greatly. With Nintendo doing the same for the Wiii, well, with the GBA and DS thrown in, that means I also will have an extensive library of games for that system as well the moment it comes out if I decide to buy it. Just some reasons why it's not all about the abilities of a system, but more how one utilizes the abilities of a system that appeal to nintendo and Sony gamers.
  6. Well, I for one love the Japanese RPGs sooooo.... And if the Wii is backwards compatible with all GC games, as well as having the ability for many of Nintendo's previous games, as well as being able to play GBA games and DS games...well that library alone (I originally got the GC with the GC player because the GBA games had a lot of great games...and I'd rather play it on a TV than a 4 inch screen, it's all about the gameplay...) is a good reason...though I AM still VERY hesitant about that freaking controller. So though there is a lot going for it, I'll probably do a wait and see with the Wii to see, to see if it really does have everything that it looks like it might (backwards compatibility and compatibility with handheld games). I expect I'll get a PS3 too however...it's going to rock!!! Xbox360....meh. If it's anything like the Xbox games (and it looks like it will be) anything that is actually worth my time playing...will already or eventually come out for PC. I own some nice PC's, and can upgrade them to be better then the 360 eventually (might be two years down the line, but they'll BE better than the 360 in everyway eventually). I already own a PC and I know I'll use a PC anyways so it'll always be around. Heck, Oblivion a 360 game came out for PC as well, I literally can't see why so many of my fellow citizens sink so much money into a console when most of the games if they are worth playing will eventually or already be sold for the PC. So PS3 is a definate. The Wiii though, is looking pretty definate too, but I want to make certain of a few things first.
  7. Okay, well I think I've been convinced not to get it myself, maybe lay a hint and if someone gets it for christmas, then no money of mine spent. If/when I hate it I can just toss it...or give it away. However, I'm not going to get it now due to what everyone is saying here. Not wanting to start anything, but since I haven't played...in brief...why is so many people so liking Vampire. I had heard it was a buggy as heck game? Should I really spend the time and money to hunt it down (going to need something else to whittle my time now that I'm not getting FOBOS)?
  8. Well, I have to say I'm reminded once again why I both liked and disliked Lionheart. All the severe griping about it is really undeserved, although much of the normal griping might not be. Playing it again has made me completely thrilled, and then wanting to tear my hair out. The first fourth/third of the game IS SUPERB...I mean almost (but not quite) as great as a IE game (however IE games tend to have more to explore, overall more side quests, and a better ability to pause and command). I did pause the game to change magic skills alot, but the combat still turned brutal after that third...and then the screaming began (okay, not screaming...but maybe cursing???). However, the first third of the game...awesome (at least I'm figuring it's the first third, seeing this is from memory and this time around I couldn't beat it). Perhaps some of the best $5 ever spent. In fact, I'd recommend such a game. Just be prepared to take it easy once you can't get any further, relax, say it's just a game, and be happy for your previous experience, and quell the desire that you think you have to go further. In otherwords, enjoy the first part just for the sake of the game, and then after that, move on to another one. I mean, the first part had me having just as much fun almost (almost of course being key, I still have more fun with most of the IE games believe it or not) as the IE games... It was great. In that way, I don't think it should be bashed half as bad as it is. The first portion is WELL worth it, in my opinion, which of course might differ from a lot of others. Of course after that, you might want to switch games, but Barcelona was actually fun.
  9. Good article about the brains in and leaving the industry ... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It was a good article.
  10. It looks like this has fallen into the bargain areas of gaming and I could get some at a cheap price. This is one I have to admit I've never actually played. I realize that it won't be anything like the rest of the Fallout Series, and perhaps even a wider difference between the Fallout's and it then there was between the Baldurs Gate series and Baldurs Gate Dark Alliance series. I did enjoy the fallouts... I immensely enjoyed Baldurs Gate... I also immensely enjoyed the Baldurs Gate Dark Alliance series for what it was, as well as the Champions of Norrath series. With that in mind, is it worth it for me to get Fallout Brotherhood of Steel for 5 to 10 dollars, or is it still a waste of money?
  11. Okay, since you posted right before I posted my last one What do you want with hard evidence...the only way to actually provide you that would be to mail you a older machine and let you see it crash. Online I can't really give you anything. Sorry about that. Not made of money yet. Okay, now I'm done.
  12. Anyways, I'm done with this inanity. I've given the heads up, as i wanted to. I DON'T need the tech help, especially since Ialready know what's going on overall, and, no offense, but even if I was after it, with legal means, it doesn't sound like anyone here would have been able to help. I already solved this problem days ago. I KNOW there are some however that will NOT have it solved if it or a similar problem is relased with NWN2. There's no reason for me to go on and on about this. I'm just hoping to avoid a fiasco upon the NWN2 release, (and of course we might always get lucky even if it isn't heeded, as specific conflicts between program and Protection normally conflict in differing ways since programs differ). It wasn't to state really the problem....more of a heads up that there ARE problems, and hopefully Bioware and Obsidian will check out the full game AFTER teh CD protection is in place in order to patch these problems before the release, OR make sure that Atari doesn't use anything that will actually cause such a conflict. I've done all I can. Hopefully the devs read this. Good luck to everyone else. I'm done, I'd much rather read threads on fun stuff than this.
  13. Fixed. And I really don't understand whats going on... is it that your game when it tries to install will ask to connect to the net then kill your video card like farmer john kills bessie? or is it that when you try to run the game you get a graphical problem that you just can't explain? I've had the second one where my ATI could play Punisher but wouldn't play Deus Ex IW or Project Snowblind. and I had a nvidia that could play Deus but not the other two and yata yata... so every 2 or three days I got to play musical cards (hey it was fun ) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hmm, for any real enthusiasts of NWN who were there at the beginning, I would hope that some of them would remember me...oh well...thankfulness is shortlived. However I would have hoped that from that, people would know that I'm not exactly non-tech savvy (let's see, got NWN to actually run on the voodoo cards, intel cards...albeit not very well, instructed how to change the settings on cards so that it would accept those that didn't register as OpenGL 1.1+compliant, figured out and released the opener code for various games or at least the beginnings of games [mostly due to being sick of people asking for them rather than any desire to use them myself normally] various tech support items in forums early on in many games). I normally DO check out things on the internet and other places. No, mine is not an isolated incident, in fact some of the biggest items that have been left unanswered by Atari's tech support and other support (except of course their NWN diamond fiasco with the missing keys) has been this topic. I have thought I was pretty clear. Let me see if I can say it any more slowly and reduce it to much more common speech. The CD Protection that Atari is using for the Act of War Expansion, and which I expect they will try to use with NWN2, or an upgraded form of it, conflicts with the programming. Because of this, the Protection can hit when the vid card is initializing the game. When this occurs, it causes a fault with several computers. This causes the Video card drivers to fail. When they fail, they fail almost completely with varying results depending on the computer settings. These can resort to what happened with mine where all higher functions of the card associated with current drivers fail...such as Pixel Shader, T&L and 3d shading, making it so that anything requiring 3d will not run. Others have had problems as well, which would also be a direct result of this. These vary, as I stated above, due to what the system settings are, and how current their video and other drivers are. It can cause the card to crash entirely. In this instance, one could get a blank screen, unless XP defaults back to the generic drivers. Now if it doesn't default back to the generic drivers (in which case you have to hope on a reboot it will remember your old drivers and settings) you will only have a blank screen. In many instances this WILL cause a reboot of WinXP, or (and I've actually only seen this once in XP, I suppose a testament to how good at recovery it is) a screen of doom (aka the dreaded screen, screen of death, etc, and if you don't know what that is, I'm not really feeling like explaining it). I've been lucky, and only experiened the first item with the drivers failing, but the card still running everything but 3d. However, I have seen the other items reported, and after seeing the process of what is happening, can see how the those are also easily related to this. Due to the interruptions of the CD, one of the things that cause this fault, is when the screen resolutions between movie and game change, it can cause a problem. The timing, in particular, is the poor part of it all. I'm thinking it's all in the timing, or the specifications of the DVD/CD writer/reader, due to my own experience with what worked and what didn't. NWN2 will have a much broader appeal, and less people will have really new stuff as compared to hardcore gamers, and many who played AoW expansion. Hence, if a similar item pops up, there's a big chance it's going to hit a LOT more people...in a big way. I'm not certain how much more explicit you want. I think this is about as clear as one can get with simple language. In otherwords, someone didn't do their testing of the game and Copy Protection prior or it's impact on the game prior to the release. That's a problem. One I hope they avoid with NWN2, but seeing Atari's recent track record with their releases (and yes, it's getting worse, Diamond was released without the ability to even install in many cases due to their forgetting to put the CDkeys inside the actual game, which in some ways is even worse than the CD bug I've been discussing), I'm hoping that someone on the developer side will care enough (and they have in the past...) to ensure these same mistakes aren't made with NWN2. You can call me insane if you want, but if they don't fix this bug, and don't get lucky, well, I'll have the game...but it will probably stink more than most other releases when people start whining that their game is crashing their systems. Sorry if I appear a little annoyed. I'm not here for tech help, I actually KNOW what is going on for the most part with the CD and the card...and I think I'm on the right track with the CD/DVD reader. The problem is that unlike a card, or program fault, the requirements of a CD/DVD many times cannot be tricked into working right. Sort of like the Sony problems where they destroyed CD palyers because of the way they had their CD protections working (different method, and different way of doing it however than this one), so certain CD players, especially older ones, wouldn't work with their CDs. I AM here to hopefully give a heads up both to the producers and to players. Players can go and risk it, and I hope they get lucky. But at least they have forwarning. More importantly though, it is in hope that the developers can be on the lookout, and even if they can't avoid this, perhaps put out a patch to overcome it if it is indeed going to be a problem on the day of release itself, or even slightly prior if they find out that it will be a problem. And yes, once again to the questions on NOCD hacks, they DO work to overcome the problem...and NO I don't condone the usage of them. However, this IS how we(I use that term because though I am the only one posting here, I do have others that worked on this problem as well) determined for a definate that it was almost guaranteed to be a CD protection problem that was causing a majority of these faults in all likelihood. It won't solve all problems (if someone is using old drivers, an old OS, or for some reason due to their settings their card cannot normally take the video to game resolution switch, it won't help in those situations)
  14. I can't really put my finger on it to tell the truth. It was well constructed and fun to play...I suppose would sum it up for me.
  15. Unfortunately no. I've seen others with this problem on forums and other locations. Unfortunately as well most of the responses seem to be either completely unhelpful and addressing things already tried or unrelated, down to calling the posters names and insulting them badly (not me, this is actually these were the first forums I brought this subject up in because I wanted to make sure NWN2 runs when I start it up...I suppose thats' selfish...but I WOULD like it to run when I install and run it). I would imagine the specs on my machine would More than run it easily (especially on the 7600 machine, with a 200 gig harddrive, a 2.5 processor, 1 gig ram). <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Have you attempted running the game with a no-cd patch? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I know of someone closely related to me that did something like that...though that isn't really condoned...and I like to run mine legit...but it ran fine for them with the same system when they did that. So yes and no. I didn't...but someone else did on the same systems.
  17. NO offense...but that's like...duh... Yes...seeing AoW:HT isn't even available in the areas around here, I actually found out about it by browsing those forums...and they were my first stop in seeing if there were any real solutions to the problems I was having (for more than just AoW:HT) weeks ago. But thanks for the nice suggestion... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Could you summarise just what exactly is the problem. I'm not sure I understand what you were saying earlier. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Long story short... CD protection Atari uses seems to disable my video card drivers, or at least make it so they hit a jink in the game when trying to read the game but go read the protection causing a jink in the drivers...spefically. Is that a good summary?
  18. I must admit...yes I am a game enthusiast. Hey, at least this isn't the worst Atari problem at the moment, even if I hadn't eventually got it running on some computer...at least it would install... That's a heck of a lot better than the guys they've hosed with NWN Diamond in the last month... (for a long story short...publishing error in codes in books for NWN cd codes...there were none...people sent CDs and asked for replacement, sent another copy...still with no CDcodes so they couldn't installed, and then told Atari couldn't give them any more replacements, and though working on it...couldn't do anything about it at the moment...so not even able to install...but they were offered a full refund soooo...)
  19. Act of War, which I should modify is the biggest and driving force on this entire issue (talk about lack of support trying to get answers as well, when trying to figure out the answer to this thing), was actually gotten via Amazon. It wasnt' at any of the shops, so the only way I COULD seem to get it was online. AoW:HT is the one that I've done the testing with the CD protection overall, and the one I'm most positive on for one reason. Act of War itself ran flawlessly. The expansion doesn't seem to have added anything really that would have required any stronger graphics or anything else that I could tell... The other games, and probably the Demos specified by me, could be anything...some of them probably AREN'T protections now that I think about it. AoW IS the biggest culprit, now that we narrow it down and specify. So if you want to biggest and most researched item in this it IS AoW:HT. I suppose I could look into the SecuRom issues to see what exactly is causing this... I'm normally don't get into actually hacking Security items though so that's not what I'm into. The patch didn't make a difference. Installation was no problem...it was the actual running the game (which actully wasn't too much of a problem right up until it informed me that the video drivers were suddenly not working...that was annoying...every time it happened, even expecting it didn't make it any better). There IS one other thing that I have to admit I haven't checked out...it could be the brand of DVD reader I'm using...now that I think of it. Three of the computers have the same brand of DVD reader (not the same one, but the same brand I believe, all the 6000 series). I actually narrowed it down to the CD protection last week, but spent the rest of the time since then either working, or switching between playing Dark Star One or Lionheart (yes, I know, old game, but I think I posted last week, I got it for $5 soooo.) Once narrowed that it had to do with the CD protection, and seeing what it did...and thinking...hey, these are the same guys that are behind bio and Obs on NWN2... Got a baaaaaaaad feeling of what Atari might do if this is right. I'm thinking just not enough testing with systems on a full game with their copyprotection slapped on. Last thing I want however, is getting my NWN2 in my greedy little hands and being sadly disappointed. Unlike AoW:HT which was a somewhat exciting game...I'm REALLY looking forward to NWN2, I should get it right before I'm taking off for business elsewhere, so if it doesn't work out of the box, it could be a week or more before I have the chance to connect to the internet and patch (planning on the SP campaign first and then hopefully making some modules).
  21. Yeah, with the 7300 go computer it ran smoothly, no problems, I'm not certain what differentiated it and the others except for newness perhaps? (edit:That's why I'm thinking it's dependant on how new your DVD/CD reader is, and what brand, what drivers...etc. that marks this junk up). It's not the card since the 7600 I was pretty certain was the better card. All of the computers had a gig of RAM (well, actually on the first go the 6200 and 6600 had 512, but then upgraded to 1 gig in the past two weeks...just to be sure). That's one bad mofo of a securom. High Treason IS pretty good when you get it to run...on another note. I know some were disappointed with it, especially with naval unit control, but perhaps I'm just easy to please or something.
  22. You listed the culprits in a super awesome clear sentence like this: You'll forgive me, but this sentence starts off saying that games such as Stormreach, UT2004, Timeshift, and AOW: High treason have no problems (read the sentence carefully). Hence my confusion. Hence why your statement was obscure, since you seemed to be contradicting yourself at times. Since you know the games, this is an easy thing, just give me a list of the games. No other comments. So it would look like this: Is it just AOW: High Treason and Timeshift? I would think yes, but your last statement confused me. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Act of War I should add is the biggest culprit and the biggest one that I've actually confirmed the problems with directly...I only have so much time for the Testing that Atari should probably do. Two weeks of testing time is actually a LOT of time for me. I suspect it is with others...but I can't confirm anything with them as I haven't tested them...and after the time spent, am pretty TIRED of testing things with Atari...but I'm not going to say directly that it's in games that I don't know positively...so as I said, this is a heads up...buyer beware with anything after the May timeframe of this year...with newer stuff it appears you probably won't have any problems, but no guarantees. Also, as I indicated in my longer post, this IS with Nvidia cards...don't know results of what would happen with Ati Cards.
  23. Where would both these companies be without you! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I listed the BIGGEST culprits in the long post above, as well as ones that didn't have any problems that I've installed recently.
  24. Or perhaps they aren't letting you post slander on their forum. EDIT: I guess it'd technically be libel. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, it's not slander at Bioware or Obsidian, this is a heads up so they know what's coming down from atari. The only one's who might take it as slander would be atari, and they've had three months to try to clear up these things... That's forever in gaming time... It's serious enough that it's not going to matter how good NWN2 is if half the people can't play it, or even worse, experience a disabling of their video cards... I personally am a big fan of the Bioware and BlackIsle/Obsidian games...and have just about all their games, well the ones for PC (I don't have an XBox and probably won't get them, so I don't have any of their games for the Xbox). Part of this is inspired because I want to actually NOT have to deal with this problem with the NWN2 release, as well as part of it is actual respect for their companies enough that I think they could actually DO something and MIGHT actually do something about it (they have in the past) if they were made aware of this.
  25. I never copy games either, so that's a moot point. This is ALL with legit copies. I do have it on knowledge from Tech support however that the pirated copies work much better...IRONICALLY...wonder how that freaking happened. This IS worse than Starforce by a longshot (who knows, maybe it's an upgraded form, I don't know what the copy protection they are using is called, I just know it's results).
