  1.

Still playing Neverwinter.  Great Weapon Fighter got really fun to play from around lev 30 onward, picking up some really badass special attacks.

Do you get any knockback attacks? Nothing is as rewarding as sending enemies flying off of buildings :)

Yup, there is a wide knock back attack named "Roar", pushes back a little, interrupts and 1 sec root. Deadly Dwarven breath weapon

Actually im amazed by the number of CC abilities GWF got. If one be careful using them it is really easy to stunlock enemies to death.

BTW rogues are DPS in like mad O_o one of my buddies killing bosses 4 times faster than me :/

  2. Sadly, most of them new generation gamers need/want/demand "hand holding" in games. Which leads them to become even more lazier and not capable of thinking out the easiest of puzzles/situations.

I saw many players in my Turkish forums who couldn't even get past Skyrim's first dungeons puzzles without help from youtube...

  3. Finding people is a bit problematic. You need to type "nickname@accountnick" at social part. Characters with long names and surnames prove some frustaration...

I kinda like the game (duh its free :D) playing as a dwarven great weapon fighter (fire the guys named this, now!)  and get to lvl 12 but havent found or seen any weapon for class other than greatswords. Are there any on higher lvls/dungeon drops? If not I'll be wildly dissapointed...

Also anyone saw any of Faeruns celebrities? Since we are in Neverwinter I think we may be seeing Drizzt, Entreri or Dahlia.

  4. Still playing Defiance.

Having more fun now that I have started to get the hang of it and don't die as often as I did two days ago.

Managed to rank first on a minor Arkfall event. Yay :)

Spend a good hour exploring and searching for stuff only to give up, do a story mission and have the story mission lead me right to them...

I started to play this as well, quite entertaining game. I only got some minor server "hickups" and random buggy time trials.

While missions and VO is good writing is really bad, kept rolling my eyes in most quest cutscenes...

Shooting is solid and fun with lots of different weapons, gameplay is a lot similar to Borderlands but better IMHO, co-op "dungeons" are also very fun even though  they get a bit repeatative. (which happens in every MMO in existance :))

Arkfalls are a blast also, Trion implent their "rift mechanic" well in this one.

Haven't tried PvP yet but it should be fun considering it is mostly skill based.

  5. Heart of the Swarm. I'm pretty sure I'm nearing the end, so I'll save talking about the plot arc and story again for later.

I do like the campaign. The missions are interesting, though Kerrigan being a little overpowered does take something away.

I didnt use Kerrigan most of the time because of this, shes very powerfull even with auto attack :/ Chain lighting with broodlings spawn is just broken.

I too liked missons generally but there are just too many "timed" missions and first 3-4 missions are lame, tutorialish missions...

  6. I, still cannot believe Ubisoft publishing an old-school-like, turn based RPG... Is this some kind of fantasy O_o

Limbic sounds OK, though their first work is only repairing M&M6 (they are the ones built city screens for starters)

Also lots of goodies on main site

  7. I loved things like the horsehoes, to get minimal skillpoints, which let you play the whole game without training to level, if you felt like it. Is that munchkin? It just felt like a "can I?" challenge. :p

....the only super-cheese tactic I remember using was the one where you saved before looting dragon corpses - eg, they acted like high-loot table random chests. So theoretically you could leave MM7's training island with some high gear, because the dragons in that cave were easily beatable if you had a bow.

Ugh... i remember killing that dragon with bows and that wand from shaddy guy. Which took +15 min and many save&loads ^_^ Also having a teacher/scholar as NPCs gave very good bonus XP for start.

    MM6,7,8 are the kings/queens of cheese :D

  8. Getting kind of bored with Dead Space 3.  At first the story was kind of cool, and the mission associated with it (ie. searching through various derelict space ships for folks) were fun.  Now it just feels like random fetch quests with shooter bits for no purpose other than to prolong the game.

Stop doing side missions unless you are playing co-op. Especially late game ones are useless (no decent rewards and makes you spend everything you have) and boring.

  9. I pledged a physical tier as well.

That's the best written KS I've seen yet.  Brian Fargo's tweet:

It was quite ironic that we hit the max limit for text on Kickstarter when writing up the detailed information

Very well done.  Can't wait to hear more and see stretch goals.

Which they need to give some really soon  at this rate:) I think Brian Fargo already commented on that one one twitter.

  10. 20 hours into Ni no Kuni... I started right away on Normal difficulty, and made right choice, the boss fights are pretty challenging.

I have just transmuted milk fountains into cheese and waiting for audience :w00t:

    Such a charming and great game :) I want a real life Mr.Drippy as a sidekick :/

  11. On a slightly related note, I don't understand why anyone would use real money to buy those MP packs for Mass Effect 3.  Even on the lowest challenge (Bronze), you usually get around 15000 to 17000 credits per match.  All it takes is playing a half dozen or so matches to earn enough credits to "buy" the best packs.  So why would anyone actually spend actual money on those packs?

Becuse of "The RNG Curse" of course, i played ME3 MP for nearly 2 months and played silver/gold mainly.

And i couldnt get the weapons/characters i wanted... things like this don't upset me and i just contiune to play, but i know a lot of weak willed gamers who just buy out credits to get better chance. After 1 day of play that is.

This microtranstations are "supply&demand", if nobody really not wanted them there wouldn't be any, but nowadays gamers like to pour money on this thing instead of "wasting time." Funny part is even as an old gamer, i still play better than most of them even they got better weapons and characters, some youngsters just don't know what they are doing :)

  12. The Fox Blade (which seems like it might be a reskinned armor breaker) is overpowered in Metal Gear Rising. I see now why the Armor Breaker is probably among the last weapons people would normally get.

I haven't even upgraded its special ability and it kills normal cyborgs outright.

Im having lots of fun with this game, it has a really short campaign but i cannot stop my self from slicing&dicing :)

On the other hand im visiting my parents for the weekend so no high end/console games. BOOOO!

A weekend full of DOTA2 and Banner Saga Factions. And drinking !
