  1. We need some mix of Elves in this topic - something like: 1. Obsidian Elves (ancient assassins order of Elves secluded from society - most of them are assassins and spies "the very best money can buy") While pursuing their own agenda, the Obsidian Elves adopted changing world of Project Eternity. But they kept true to their political display of power by means of assassination, targets were chosen carefully and perspectively. The assassination of their adversaries were either public to show power and incite fear or carried out in complete silence (mostly when they performed contract assassination). Order of Obsidian Elves have prevented many wars and bloodshed throughout the history. 2. Wild Elves ( their ancestors mixed Elven blood with Humans or even worse, some are even barbaric in nature - most of them ether bandits or mercenaries) best way to describe them is they never hurt common folk but often rob rich merchants. They have their own forest society built by their laws and equality. 3. Ivory Elves (very are very arrogant, but they keep old ways alive and above of all other races they respect and understand power their souls - occupation is unknown) Obsidian and Ivory Elves learned to use power of their souls to reach their very different goals. Elven settlements should be very hard to find.
  2. Thx Josh! Really liked idea about companions, I hope we can have awesome ones like for e.g. Minsc, Imoen or Morte it would be totally sweet.
  3. They should use 1) Engine (Middleware) they need to fulfill all their ideas, 2) Good QA testing, 3) More writers, designers, programers working on PE as a stretch goals.
  4. Yeah this is nice addition, actually it makes allot of since and please let's not even touch Fallout 3 subject (I apologize upfront to all FO3 fans, but to me its a total abomination of great legacy, similar to Jagged Alliance Back in Action in that since)
  5. When I read your post, first person that came to my mind is King Arthur.
  6. I like that ) or you could only see the additional answer if you have particular skill, but chance of success should be based on stat-skill level and *luck*. I would love to see person with 18-20 Intelligence, Maxed out speech skill ... to fail * persuasion attempt (dialog line)* from time to time.
  7. I dig that and understand your position but If you don't want to read it, no one's forcing you. I for one would love to see story they way designers sees the world that they created. It can be easily done without Voice Acting by means of dialog as option #2 described.
  8. What about the olde tyme voice-overs (BG, P:T) where few key chars had only few voiced sentences? I love this style. You have freedom to write anything. You don't have to be afraid it will be expensive, unrepairable, or even messed by the actor (how many voice-overs are not good? Many). Yet you are able to bring some life and atmosphere to the scene. "We are all heroes. You and Boo and I. Hamsters and rangers everywhere! Rejoice!" cannot have the same impact if only written ;-) Agreed, that pretty much what I meant. 5-10% should be voiced like in BG, P:T, IWD, Fallout just story related characters should be voiced just set asmothere. I really love how dialogs in Age of Decadence handled.
  9. They should deffinetly have some races like Drow and Elves (simmilar to Witcher 2, those elves were awesome).
  10. "Hello there!" he says enthusiastically, but his eyes shift from left to right. "Care to peruse my wares?" Only this, no Voice acting pease.
