  1. Doesnt seem like a troll based on his post history
  2. Dont care about the delay really. But they did say the big update was coming before thanksgiving. So they should know that today again everyone will be waiting for the big update. So the least they could do is tell us in advance that it isnt coming. And just tell us that its taking more time then expected and its going to take another 2/3/4/5 weeks. And then actually release it on the date you've promised. Or delay it again if it has to be that way but at least keep everyone informed. Looking forward to this thing the whole day and then someone coming in at the last moment to say it isnt coming is very annoying.
  3. The devs should have the creative freedom to write the companions in any way they see fit. Having an obligation to make at least one of them gay is stupid and forced.
  4. I think it should be first some info and then pledge. Not pledge first and maybe get info later.
  5. Hard to say I think. This is not going to be a full priced (60 dollar) game, I think it will cost about 25-30 dollars. Also the budget is relatively small (even 3 million is very small for a game these days). So I would be happy with a 30-40 hour game that is polished and of high quality. In general I'd rather have a short (20 hours or something) rpg that is of good quality and polished then an unpolished game with bad design.
  6. I do get that this might be their strategy to milk as mouch money out of this as they can. It's just dissapointing that developpers use Kickstarter and are all idealistic about direct contact with the fans bla bla bla. And in the end it turns out that all they want is our money and we get the same marketing BS that we're used to from the big publishers.
  7. I dont get why people think it is ok to go into Kickstarter so unprepared as Obsidian. Your asking people to give you money, and for the higher tiers a lot of money. The least you can do is be honest and upfront to them so you dont get a lot of dissapointment later on when you start to provide real information. I get that there's a strategy involved here to get as much money as possible, but some people also think that you should treat your fans/customers with respect. Personally I hate this teasing game that is played to get more money. Just tell me what the game is going to be like, show some early artwork etc and I am old enough to see if I'm going to back it or not. I do have high hopes for this game because of the talent involved. But I'm not going to give money to a game thats coming out in 18 months with no information about it at all. Bottom line, based on these first few days I cant say I trust these developpers enough to give them my money. Edit: Look at these two kickstarter projects : Even though they are much less succesfull, they provide much more information, some artwork and even a gameplay snippet. Especially the Pangenic KS is very well done I think. It provides basic information on the world, gameplay and ideology. Also the basic artwork is enough to set the down for that they
